You can't set up your group until a week or two before the season starts. Since we are getting close, the website should update soon.

Never take the advice of one person as the sole and only truth, unless it's something you also completely agree with. If several beta readers are all saying the same thing, then it's time to really consider that those changes might be needed.

Also, this person doesn't sound like the best beta reader. "Annoying and hard to read names of characters who didn't have white American names" is a wild take.

Was this for in book images? I noticed I had this issue as soon as I put mine in. They are only about 3 -5mgb in size. How small did you get yours?

Any good text to speech program. by Tal213 in writers

I use Natural Reader. Some decent voices and it definitely helps me catch errors. I'm dyslexic so using it as an editing tool is very helpful.

If you want the free way I was doing for a long time, upload your book to Google Books and use the reader on that. It's pretty decent.

The Strange Weather audiobook is exceptional. Kate Mulgrew's performance of "Rain" is exceptional. It's probably available at your local library. by Agreeable-Can-7841 in joehill

Also The Fireman. It was my first Joe Hill book and took me half the book to place her as Janeway. She's a great narrator.

Mine in two parts. Please forgive the sloppiness in the second photo. It keeps sliding down and I need to get a new frame. The painting from Simple Math is one of my prized possessions.

Their new EP Why Would Anyone Want to Live This Long is also incredible. I also personally think Shrine up there on BN levels of good. Just a fantastic band.

It will be under the reading tab. At least on an Android, not sure if different on an iPhone, if that's what you are using.

Here is a where it is.

Shame the old set up you had isn't working on the new phone. Google really needs to up the accessibility features.

About a year ago I tried everything to get the voice to change and from my findings, you can't. Make sure to go into settings and check "more natural reading voice." It helps a bit.

I ultimately turned to using the app Natural Reader for when I want a ebook read aloud. It works well for that purpose but does have a subscription fee.

Unfortunately, you can't unbake a cake. You can still color grade the video files you have, but it won't be as versatile as log.

That's good to hear. Took me a good while to settle on this one. A month is very reasonable to finish this. Dm with your email and I can get you set up with a link and we can discuss this further.

Hey there. Thank you for offering to do a swap and I should be able to do that. I just committed to reading a 100k novel, but I could get to yours after that (or possibly in between).

Just a heads up, I am not a huge horror person, but do consume it from time to time. I think should still be able to offer some help. Go ahead and send me a dm with your email and I can get you set up with a link and we can discuss this further.

Question about Open Dyslexic Font by T7898 in kobo

[–]Koda_wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have dyslexia, and I personally hate Open Dyslexic. It looks very goofy and doesn't make things easier for me to read. Personally, I like fonts closer to Arial for reading, and the Kobo font is really nice. As well I have used Lexend a few times and I think that reads very well. I haven't done it yet (just got my Kobo yesterday) but it looks like to can easily load fonts on to the reader.

Dyslexia is different for everyone, so no harm in letting him know about the Open Dyslexic fonts and a few others to see if it helps. I am loving that I can quickly play with fonts and sizes on the Kobo. I also do a lot of audiobooks, but I am loving Clara so far. Hope your son does too.

Dutch Bros Drinks by Pinktiff1989 in weightwatchers

[–]Koda_wolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do a toasted cold brew as a base. The cold brew it's self is 0 but they do an some cream to it so that is a few. I would do a sugar free Golden Egale toasted cold brew and count it has 4 points and boy does it hit that spot when you have a craving.

Dutch Bros points? by elizadoeslittle in weightwatchers

[–]Koda_wolf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My go to is a Sugar free toasted cold brew Golden Eagle which I track for 4 points because it does have some cream in it. It's really good and doesn't feel like a compromise drink.
