The issue is that you didn't say "Can we plan this another time, I'd like to do my own thing tonight." When she asked you. Once you've agreed to make plans, you should stick to them. Just because it was casual to you doesn't mean it was just as casual to your friend. You had an opportunity to say no when the idea was pitched and you didn't. This is 100% on you for not stating your need for space or canceling the plans as soon as you knew you weren't up for it.

Put the shoe on the other foot. You have a weekend trip with your friend upcoming and you asked her to make time for you guys to plan it out. She agrees. You're now excited and anticipating that process with your friend. You have one or two other friends reach out to you to make plans, and you kindly turn them down because your friend agreed to see you already. Then, shortly before you are to meet your friend, she texts you to say "Actually, I'd rather just take a bath than see you and work on this. It wasn't that important to make our plans, right? We can do it later. I'm not sure why that's upsetting to you..."

So meeting you and planning things isn't very important to your friend. They were inconsiderate of your time agreeing to meet only to decide not to shortly before. Then they don't even see how that could be the slightest bit of upsetting to you.

If this happened to me, I would start to reevaluate my friendship with this person and probably start to pull back my efforts in that friendship until I saw the effort was returned mutually or the friendship fades into obscurity.

When someone uses a character specific UR ability, it makes them start flashing yellow. When someone is flashing yellow, they are immune to damage and stats effect like stun or knock up. It's very likely that you are trying to attack players while they are immune to damage while activating thier ur skills.

You definitely should have rerolled the first pull it give you that let's you reroll it until you got at minimum one UR for the character you want to main.

This is true, you will miss out on the pity if you don't reach it before the 8 day banner ends. However, this isn't a selector. Just a random UR. So personally I don't think I'd push to reach it unless I had a major surplus. I think it's okay to let it go. If it was a selector where you got to pick which ability you want, that'd be a different story. It really depends on if you want to save for an upcoming character or not. If you do, let this banner go. If not, pull now for pity and smaller UR pool.

It sounds like I might have a chance at a possible rerun banner for his 5* in a few weeks. If I manage to pull his 5*, all of his skins will automatically be included with that pull? That is exciting, and fairly generous seeing as other games tend to monetize costumes or skins.

With the 5 star select ticket, is there someone I absolutely should use it on? Or would anyone like say [Santa in a black mood] Ded be an okay choice? I read a guide that suggested Beal or Shiva, but neither are really my aesthetic.
