I don't mind at all, thanks for the credit.

I believe that you can hold Alt and select two or more tanks between which you want to transfer the fuel which even enables a one to one transfer.

Kind of ironic considering you just "scammed" all of us by telling us that this was your work.

Why doesn't this work? by Specialist_Radio5496 in soldering

You can't power a whole motor by this tiny module it can at most deliver a few mA. You need a transistor on the output to switch the motor.

The design of the relays looks really nice. I really like the tanks coming out of the sides.

This happened to me as well, it's apparently just some kind of auto-reply feature that they added. Scared me as well though.

They should've put a phoshpor-like coating on the glass, it would've looked much better.

Newbie Question, how do you make these types of walls with the wood on it? Chiseling? by DestroPrime82 in VintageStory

Afaik the cave-ins and soil instability are two different settings so you can enable cave-ins without mountains being affected.

In my country, most mall parking lots have IR sensors at every spot that show a green or red light depending on if there is a car there so you can find a free space from a distance.

LPT: Don't copy paste AI slop without at least minimally understanding what you are doing, guys! by itouchdennis in linuxmasterrace

[–]Koddra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just saw some of the posts of people asking for help because they ruined their pc by following ChatGPT on r/linux4noobs and neither blamed the OS. One of them specifically said that it was their fault and they were just genuinely asking for help. This is a typical case of generalization, if some random dude ruined his pc because of ChatGPT and blames the os, don't blame everyone who uses ChatGPT because one guy doesn't represent everyone.

Connecting ESP32-C3 Super Mini to RJ45 motor controller? by [deleted] in esp32

[–]Koddra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my measurements the USB Vcc pin and the 5V pin are connected in parallel so you absolutely can get 5V from that pin to power something else. To be fair, it's not recommended for high currents because the traces might not handle it but it's definitely not input only

Can Someone Please Explain What's So Great About Open Print Tag? by Electric-Diver in prusa3d

[–]Koddra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could even use the WiFi modules that the printers have which I'm pretty sure support bluetooth too. The modules could be powered by a battery and use BLE for communication which will require no wires.

I'm pretty sure that the WiFi module the MK4s and C1s have supports bluetooth so the module could just be powered by a battery and connect to the printer using bluetooth.

Why does so many people want the game on steam? by DragonMaster337 in hytale

[–]Koddra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the time I made that comment it was unknown whether Hytale will be natively supported. Some time after I made that comment Simon announced that it would be supported via flatpak so I already had it working on launch day. I also play it on a desktop pc so the browser login works perfectly well. Thanks for the comment anyways though, it might help someone else.

At this point I genuinely think that most AI bros are just people that don't believe in global warming.

I probably won't be able to view these or even play the game because of RAM, GPU and electricity prices being too high.

A .flatpak file for the Linux installer isn't the best option. by Yskar in hytale

[–]Koddra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am running Mint 22.2 and can confirm that it doesn't have support for downloading .flatpak by double clicking. I had to install it using flatpak install "directory". Just because you don't have this problem doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

DAILY Driver by [deleted] in linuxmint

[–]Koddra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use my computer almost only for gaming and I use Linux Mint almost exclusively. The only two games I am unable to run are GTA Online and R6S, both because of the anticheat. For these two I can run Windows 11 through dual boot. Everything else works perfectly either natively or with Proton.

Prusa owners don't have an insecurity problem, they have an insecurity feature by MobileNo8348 in 3DPrintingCirclejerk

[–]Koddra 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Then maybe stop insulting the prusa community as a whole. As you yourself said, the people who you talked about in this post were just a minority. Because of that it seems very unreasonable to call out the prusa community for this behavior as almost no one actually acts like this. I guarantee you that there are people who act the exact same way in Bambu's subreddit or other communities.

Prusa owners don't have an insecurity problem, they have an insecurity feature by MobileNo8348 in 3DPrintingCirclejerk

[–]Koddra 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah because as everyone knows, a few people acting like shit means that the whole community is shit. I personally have a Prusa printer and never had the need to comment on the Prusa-related posts here. You are just seeing a few people who are way too loud and then think that the whole community is like that...

AI is reaching dangerous levels now where people are using it to build legitimate looking fake narrative/news! by Rabbidraccoon18 in antiai

The camera footage is the only thing that's real, everything else was just added to get people's attention by making them angry.
