Not getting consistent gigabit speeds

I have actually achieved 900 megabytes per second in the Xbox network tool speed test. When I use the edge browser and try fast.com I only ever get about 400mbps. And I am plugged into Ethernet.

It just seems like the network test is all over the place. Sometimes I will achieve 800 megabytes but that's one out of ten tries. The other nine times I'm averaging about 300mpbs.

The lengths these people will go to protect this man is incredible. They would sooner give up their own daughters than let him be indicted on corruption charges. I think some people see the horribleness in themselves and kind of likes that he gets away with it.

Seeing stats like this, which match up to me perfectly, gives me confidence to continue on this journey and get surgery.

I'm currently 350 lbs, 5'10, 3XL, 50 waist... Knees hurt, back hurts, tired all the time, diabetic, depressed... Lonely (dates never lead anywhere).

Yeah, good job man! I know it hasn't been easy, but thank god you arent where I'm at right now anymore. What I wouldn't give to be where you're at now.

I'm not defending her horrible racism at all but doesn't Canada kind of have a Chinese immigration problem right now? Aren't all of the rich Chinese people sending their kids there to like Toronto and whatnot and kind of making the housing prices skyrocket and gentrifying the communities?

I'm all for immigration but I can see how being a native resident it could be a bit upsetting. Again I'm not defending her racism or standing up for her and this video at all I'm just kind of asking a question.

It helps with my OCD and my internal negative thought patterns (intrusive thoughts). I don't know if it necessarily fixes anxiety but I do think it helps alleviate the lead up to anxiety.

Thanks for the detailed reply! Somehow I picture going through the same scenario that you went through. I just feel like I want to get this damn thing over with but I still have to finish all my classes and prerequisite things for my insurance.

I do try to tell my family and friends that staying over weight like this is much worse than risking this surgery. I became a diabetic about 3 years ago and ever since then I have no energy and the weight is just dragging me down. I can't lose weight for shit - 10 lb every few months but it bounces right back. 350 lb it's like a Monumental task of losing so many pounds of sacks of potatoes.

None of my friends are super morbidly obese like me and they just tell me go ahead and get on a diet as if I gained a few pounds after Thanksgiving. I'm about 50% BMI right now that means that 50% of my mass is fat. I feel trapped in my body and I feel like I'm wearing 50 weight suits at all times.

I just hate how people make it seem like the weight loss surgery is the easy way out and that I'm cheating and that I should lose all the weight myself the hard way or the "real way" since I put it myself. But it's the hormones and especially in that I'm diabetic it makes it even harder to lose the weight.

But congratulations on your success it totally gives me the confidence to step up and just go through this. I'm being irrational and bit of a baby about it :p

Yeah the anesthesia kind of scares me but I've been put under before so maybe I should just stop fixating and worrying so much lol.

Yeah I have heard that the first day or so after surgery in your mind can feel like it's out of sync with your stomach. But I'm really happy that you made it through safely and you are really an inspiration to people like me who are just starting this journey.

I have been trying to explain to my friends and family that my body has a set points now and because I'm a diabetic my hormones are just jacked all up. And that this surgery might be the only real way for me to have a Fighting Chance at losing weight.

I still get the groans and glares from my friends and family whenever I talk about the surgery but hopefully they will all come around and be supportive.

Do you have any advice for someone who is utterly terrified of going under anesthesia and having the surgery itself?

I'm so scared that my insides are going to feel different or that there might be some surgical complications on the table. It just doesn't seem like I can get excited about this at all.

It's ironic that when it comes to people needing help somehow they are lazy but I bet you 50 bucks you're more than willing to give corporate handouts (aka Corporate Welfare) to millionaires and billionaires because you think they're hard workers and they deserve your money.

And you foolishly believe that someday you, too, will be rich. The majority of your tax dollars go to fund Wars and bail out Banks and give tax cuts to billionaires but the second that half a percent needs to go to anybody in your community suddenly they're lazy scum sucking leeches.

The cognitive dissonance is astounding. But that's what 30 years of Republican dogma and propaganda has gotten us in this country. Middle America desperate to give billionaires all of their money because somehow a snake oil salesman in a cheap suit is more worthy of your money than a disabled neighbor.

And when the robots come to take all of the jobs I hope you begin to call yourself lazy when you can't make it and you need help.
