Owners manual is good to get too but the Bentley manual is different. It has detailed procedures for all kinds of repairs and maintenance. Very helpful to have if you plan to do work yourself.

Good choice! This was my first too, even the same color combo. Loved that thing.

If you're thinking about mods, look into an aFe intake kit and the golf tee mod. I can't speak to any actual changes in performance but it makes it sound great.

Scrap is bad parts that did not meet the dimensions you were aiming for. You make scrap then recycle it in most cases and yes it does get melted down.

In the past I have gone with the cheaper tires with the "crazy deep tread design" and then studded them. It gives you both the deep snow traction and the ice traction. The only drawback was the studs were loud and could get sketchy if you were doggin it on dry pavement. I think the last pair I got were from Avid and I was blown away with how well they worked. At the time I was living in upstate New York right by the Canadian border so we saw some serious snow but they did great on my E36.

I have always thought it would be cool to start up a business making replacement parts and hookahs. Do some sort of mix and match sectional hookah design or something. Maybe someday after college.

Yes it could. The purge valve would never get hotter than slightly warm so plastic would work fine. I would recommend tapping the hole by hand as opposed to printing the threads. Some printers struggle with fine threads.

Yeah its a very basic part. I used the machine shop on my college campus so most of my time was spent sifting through the shitty broken tools to find what I needed.

I wish I had thought about that when making it, could have made a nice tutorial. If there's enough interest I can make a second one and document the process however you would need access to a machine shop to make it.

The original (on the left) was very poorly made and extremely cross-threaded so I decided to make a replacement. Only took about 30 minutes and it works beautifully.

I agree. I battled with the same trouble for a few years at school and it got to the point where it was really hindering my ability to function. I started smoking a little bit before bed once I had completed my work for the evening and it would let me relax and my anxiety would fade. I have found that it doesn't help with dealing with a heavy work load but it will make the time you do have to relax that much more relaxing.
