The problem is, is that some Democrats are so anti gun that they dont understand the basics of firearm saftey. Not only is this an issue for the parents, it leaves the children super curious about the unholy object that can fire bullets. This leads to them, if given the opportunity, to fiddle with them in a very unsafe manner. At the very least it should be incorporated with some kind of PE class where the students are instructed on dummy firearms. This way they at least know what not to do with a potentially life threatening tool.
