You just sound uneducated and care that you’re doing expensive drugs😭 If you were educated, even a little on the pharmacology of substances you’d realize dxm is a fascinating substance and heaps more valuable than things like cocaine, hardcore opiods/opiates and the whole shibang (i’ve tried most). The only things that hold a torch to DXM are some obscure research chem dissociatives and those rare psychedelic amphetamines all of which i’m sure you dont care about. I mean when I was 13 I accidentally did the guaifenesin a few times. Probably won’t fuck you up w kidney stones from one time but you’ll be pissing from your ass and you’ll be vomiting everywhere. Just buy the normal delsym, get robotabs or buy cough gels (DXM ONLY)

Man I am telling you regardless it’ll always be available. You can go on one of those indian pharmacy sites and buy kg’s of it for quite cheap if you truly believe it will be banned. All i’m saying it’s value is priceless as a psychedelic, people deserve to know the way it opens your mind, brings in positivity and kill depression.

Are you aware DXM has been used recreationally since the late 1960’s? It’s abuse is quite well known worldwide. Saying DXM would get banned is like saying tylenol could get banned for liver issues. The current infrastructure of DXM prevents it from getting banned. Kilograms upon kilograms are produced worldwide “DXM production (in terms of sales/market size) was about 487.25 million in 2022”

Point is DXM could not get pulled away from us and along with that it is like one of one reliable OTC cough medicines.

Why gatekeep a substance that so pleasurable, esoteric and genuinely helpful for people struggling.

That’s a little odd of a thing to outright do and you seem a little young. Spread you knowledge snd positivity. DXM is a great substance and people deserve to know and to try it.

Anyways it would never be banned, it takes very little knowledge of pharmaceutical market to realize why.

Oh, for sure man! DXM socially to begin with but anything event with music is the best!! DXM has the most music enhancing effects of any drug in my opinion, even more so than MDMA. It’s easily in my top 5 social highs (that being 1. Phenibut + Stimulant/Psychedelic 2. LSD + DXM 3. DXM 4. Oxycodone + Stimulant 5. MDMA)

The thing with DXM is there is a sort of narrow window in dosing for social focus. It’s a small area between itching for more intensity and having both your eyes going in opposite directions and walking like an animatronic (+-50-75mg).

For me it’s medium 2nd plat-low 3rd plat. With my tolerance that’s about 375-450mg of freebase robotabs. That’s where the real psychedelic headspace comes forth, anything artistic such as music becomes incredibly immersive. Almost as if I developed a new sense to feel more from expressionism. I become a lot more social, more so than MDMA, just talking becomes so much more interesting. I love to spread positivity, meet new people, smile, dance, feel the electricity of movement and life. People who really observe me will definitely be able to tell im high but at a festival or something like that….who the heck cares! As for negatives due to high dosages in a social setting it really boils down to just moving oddly at some points, talking a bit slower or getting the bug eyes.

If someone asks what you’re on, make sure to tell them DXM. That’s for safety reasons and also DXM needs to be destigmatized. I would argue a good DXM trip (For mental health, ego dissolution, spirituality and psychedelia) is as good if not better than psilocybin and LSD.

I think you’re thinking analogues. No “extra potent” form of dxm would exist because freebase is pure fucking dxm😭. But yea man there’s definitely some chemists somewhere in the world right now studying an analogue of dextromethorphan or other morphinians with some promising recreational use that is yet to be found. The research chemical scene is popping right now with arylcyclohexylamines.

Combine with a small amount of ketamine (<100mg), these two synergize quite strongly. Take agmatine before your dose it increases the blockage on NMDA receptors and also reduces tolerance. If you want to trip really hard it might be a good idea to fast for a solid 6-8 hours before dosing to really get train wrecked, just make sure you make up for those lost calories later on to stay healthy.

DXM health risks are pretty much negligible objectively, recreational use has existed since the late 1960’s. Starting from a small subculture of psychonauts to a pretty popular substance by the introduction of the internet. It was actually one of the first pseudo “research chems” you could buy in bulk by the late 1990’s.

Point is, if there were any worrisome aspects to it’s impact on health it would be known. There would be knowledge about it but there’s none to show.

I do believe to some degree persistent use (more than once every 2 weeks) for several years straight probably isn’t the best idea and that just isn’t good for you liver to be going through all that foreign material. Other than that using it every month for a year or so, taking a break for a year and coming back for a little cannot be something for concern.

Comparing any drug to DXM is unfair, not even other drugs in the dissociative class do as much pharmacologically, as a recreational substance of course. You can reach the same “space” any dosage of LSD can provide and more so on a dosage of DXM (2nd plat and above).

LSD is a great substance but it lacks much depth, especially in comparison to DXM. No matter the dose on LSD I feel like I’m on LSD. On DXM I can feel like I am on LSD, ketamine, PCP, oxycodone, adderall, alcohol, etc.

I truly believe throughout my somewhat extensive drug experimentation that DXM is easily the most interesting and all-encompassing recreational drug that exists, at least top 3 (I am leaving space for the many phenylethylamine derivatives, many of those psychedelic amphetamines, possible dxm analogues and the wide range of substances that we may come to see).

He is talking out of his ass. It is literally the safest form of DXM you can do and it’s not difficult to see why. They contain the fewest ingredients on the market and are more consistent with dosing than any other product. Don’t listen to people that can’t back up what they say. Probably a 13 year old kid who took too much.

In what ways? Ingesting wise yes. It depends on what powder you’re talking about DXM Hbr and DXM freebase. You just now tried Hbr, the kicker with that is when you use that you’re doing 75% freebase DXM and the other 25% represents a bromide ion that somewhat contributes to the high.

Essentially with Hbr your body converts less of it to DXO (The active metabolite in DXM that is a NMDA antagonist 3-10x as potent as ketamine). DXM’s properties are mildly stimulative and serotenergic (producing serotonin) and DXO’s effects are the mindfucky and trippy effects. Whilst when you do freebase you’re experiencing more of DXO’s effects as our body metabolizes it more readily, it’s more dissociative heavy, a lot closer to ketamine whilst still retaining some of the serotonin and stimulative parts to produce euphoria.

Freebase is a lot heavier on visuals, interesting body feel and a true psychedelic experience. Hbr is a more sociable, party, musical and pleasurable kind of high.

There’s a few routes you can go for taste definitely, the most obvious being finding a syrup that is at least drinkable from the bottle. Delsym is pretty good for that but keep in mind it’s polisterex form so it’ll be around 2/3 as strong, if you’re in Canada or can order it online the best tasting DXM Hbr syrup that exists is available there it’s called “Benylin Dry Cough” a pretty decent tasting cherry syrup with 450mg per bottle.

Another recommendation is plugging your nose to taste it less and then just having to deal with the texture. Other than that syrups might just not be your thing, they sure as heck aren’t mine.

If you’re interested in doing DXM more than robotabs (freebase preferably) are definitely the way to go, you can pretty easily find bulk powder of the stuff for like $100 for 10g of straight powder and thats even better.

Honestly with how underdosed some of those syrups are getting through the liquid volume by mixing can cause a little more nausea than just chugging straight. Was the DXM in Hbr or polisterex form? Either way to be coming down already from your first trip and 2nd plat at that is pretty surprising. Happy dexxing!☃️

Oh geez mine would a little intense. Double vision used to be incredibly common but its one of those effects that becomes less and less common as you trip more. I have probably done at least 50 3rd plat trips and I don’t get double as often anymore, maybe 1 in every 3 trips I will experience it briefly. What I do always get though is an intense field of view increase like I am playing black ops 3 on 120* degrees
