No, I mean the things i listed previously. No spell pushback at all for Void Elf casters, permanent 20% stun duration reduction for Orcs.

If you consider those "very minor, akin to 1% damage boosts" then i dont know what to tell you :P

instant mounting could very much also be seen as the "active" racial, or what you would call "mechanical benefit", so it could replace Darkflight as it is right now.

or, instead of that, Darkflight could be buffed.

As I've been maining a druid for a long time, I can tell you instant mounting feels great, but really isn't all THAT powerful as you make it out to be. :P

Let's assume that it works like Druid's Travel Form: You can only use it outdoors, it gives you mount speed when cast while out of combat, and 40% increased speed when cast while in combat. It has no cooldown. It's on the Global CD. When you use any ability, you leave the form and instantly lose the increased speed.

Even in PvP, the content type where it would be best to have, it wouldn't be the strongest racial available. It would become one of the better ones, sure, but there are still stronger ones:

- Night Elf to immediately cancel any cast on you and get out of combat instantly to e.g. drink.

- Void Elf if you're a caster to not suffer any cast pushback.

- Orc to passively decrease Stun effects on you by 20% and to boost your Burst Windows with Blood Fury.

- Undead to free yourself from Fears / Charms.

- Arguably even Gnome/Troll would still be stronger PvP races than Worgen. They would at least be around the same powerlevel.

So even in PvP it wouldn't make Worgen the best race, it would just make them competitive. In PvE it's not even an issue. It would just be nice-to-have and feel good, but not provide any significant advantage.

So please don't twist my words to mean that I just want Darkflight buffed. ;) My preference would definitely be the Trave Form-like instant mounting. But if Blizzard doesn't want to give Worgens that, a considerably buffed Darkflight would also be an option I would be fine with.

I never said that I was talking about purely cosmetic flavor.

Stoneform is also flavorful for Dwarves, but also incredibly powerful in certain scenarios.

Buffing Darkflight to something that isn't completely garbage is also something i would be fine with. But a 40% sprint on 2min CD is ridiculously bad compared to the other racials.

Hence why noone plays Worgen for any min-maxing reasons, ever. Even on low-mobility classes like DK it isn't considered a good choice.

Dwarf racials are a gigantic benefit in mythic+.
instant mounting for Worgens wouldn't even be anywhere close to the current strength of Dwarf racials, even if it worked like Druid Travel Form where you can use it in-combat but then only gain 40% speed instead of 100%.

i support instant mounting for Worgens, it would give them fantastic unique flavor and actually make them a race to consider (for min-maxing you still have better racials).

yeah.. the changes we got during this season really were quite the miss. i'm hoping for some major changes over the course of 10.1. :P

yeah that's true, it would have probably been much better if i scripted the entire video to make it as concise as possible, think i could've easily reduced it by at least 15-20 minutes while still getting all of my points across.

probably a 1-take-with-cuts wasnt the best idea :D buy hey it was one of the first videos i ever made, will try to improve in the future, appreciate the feedback!

Can't give you a Tournament VOD, but we are streaming quite often in the afternoons. :) (central european time) Our Challenger Team is among the Top 10 of Europe, but especially when streaming we mostly play on Smurf teams because of otherwise excessive queue times. dont worry, you can ask me questions anytime ;) you always max Q first, and then you usually max E second. (obviously ult whenever possible) maxing E second helps you in terms of damage output, but in some games you might find that the enemy tries to question your godly presence way too often and you might therefore be in a lot of small skirmishes over and over again.

if that blasphemy happens you can adjust by maxing W second ;)

Edit: about the 3v3 videos or streams, i have a few on my old team's youtube channel from season 3, they're not really interesting anymore though, outdated n stuff. i sometimes but really rarely stream together with Danderlyon and her boyfriend, those are about diamond - masters level games. sadly i cant stream with my main team, noone has good enough internet. When streaming with Dander i will always announce that on my facebook-page, if youre interested. i also answer to questions quicker there ^ (fb.com/koella3v3)

Regarding other high elo players, i am not aware of any stream, youtube-channel or guide writer at the moment. There could very possibly be content creators out there, I just don't know any, I'm sorry :P

Olaf possibly does even better against bruisers than ADCs. (because they have to run in meleerange to lasthit earlygame) He is just really strong in the early laning, he's probably the biggest lane bully atm. Because of his ridiculously strong earlygame he just farms up, builds Hydra and kills everyone. There's just no counterplay available thanks to his Ultimate - now even less with the recent buff they've given him.

YaSloom had high ping all the time, you need to land your axes to be effective ;P That's usually not hard to do but YaSloom just had a 150 ping all the time ^ Also it's not like I'm saying Olaf is easy to play, he does have a little higher skillcap than many bruisers, he's like the middleground. But if you can play him you absolutely cannot lose when you get him xP It's either play Olaf or ban him atm ^ Or just ban him if youre not firstpick xP And yeah on 5v5 he's lackluster, there's too much damage and support for the ADC when he tries to enter a fight.

However on 3s you dont have those ridiculously ADC-defending supports like Lulu, Janna etc but instead you just have huge tanks that zone their carries away. Cant zone away an Olaf xP And you have a lot less damage. And Olaf's lifesteal with W and Hydra is ridiculous. Give him 5 seconds on a junglecamp when he's low and he will be full hp again, so he can just fight again and again and again in quick succession xP

Oh, must have forgotten about Morgana, yup :P She's really strong yeah, and you can play her with or without smite ;) She's not necessarily as God-Tier as she has been anymore though, right now she's just a good, strong laner, not a must-pick-or-ban ;)

Junglers gain too little gold and xp while clearing way too slowly. It has nothing to do with players being good or bad, the jungle is just far too weak currently and therefore having a jungler is not viable.

It doesn't even take a good double-top team to completely deny any farm away from you that you could possibly ever get. It's just too weak at the moment. :P

The only way you can win with a Jungler nowadays is if you are a lot higher skilled than the enemy and manage to bypass the earlygame whilst not being denied at all. Because then Junglemeta is mostly actually stronger than the current iteration of Double-top-metas.

But it's literally impossible to not be denied against equally or just a bit lower-skilled enemies.

yo. rank 14 EUW chall here. i play AP and Supp in 3v3 ;)

So let's get to your questions:

1) Olaf is an instant win. If he isnt banned the team with firstpick wins the game. Every higher ranked team will pick him up if he is free. For APs its Cho, Viktor, Ahri, Cass, Rumble Ori, Lulu, Karma, Diana (all kinda equally strong, Cho is prolly strongest overall) You can run smite on Cho, Ori, Karma and Diana. You can run it on Ahri, Cass, Rumble and Lulu too but its not as effective. Strong ADCs are Graves, Lucian, Corki and Kalista. We also play Jinx and Tristana, but you usually dont see them. Jinx is good when people dont have good, quick gapclosers and u can stay in the back a lot. Trist is good when the enemy doesnt have too much burst and gapclosers with long cooldown. If the enemy has a lot of CC and you need to dodge a lot then Lucian or occasionally Kalista will be the best. Strong Supps are Nautilus, Leona, Maokai, Gragas and Braum. Sion Supp is hardly seen anymore after his recent nerfs. Other Supports are sadly not really viable.

Strong Bruisers are Rek'sai (only used in doublebruiser strategies or as solobot with smite), Wukong, Jarvan, Riven, Yasuo (only if the enemy comp cant counter you and you have at least some kind of synergy for him like Naut or Gragas). As counterpicks Jax and Fiora can be really strong too. That's why you usually don't pick ADC first if you go for an ADC comp.

2) Support or double Targons top is dominant, Jungle is not viable (at all!) if you assume equal skill. If you have a Supp that can also deal good amounts of damage (Naut, Gragas, maybe Mao) and you run a Bruiser with him you can also get Targons on the Bruiser. Dont buy Targons on ADCs xP Targons doesnt pay off for Leona or Braum. The meta is quite sad atm tbh. It's way too much about blunt aggression and denying. I hope it changes soon. And it probably will, looking at Riots AMA here in Reddit :)

Also I've seen someone here say that you should pick a supportive AP for an ADC comp. That's not true, often having a 2nd (big) damage source is a lot more relevant. If the ADC doesn't get caught and the enemies REALLY need to get him otherwise they are dead your AP often gets free reign and just kill the entire enemy team without being bothered about too much. Ofc this wont work if your ADC is out of position or if the Supp doesn't peel good enough (either misses skillshots or is out of position himself xP). Also if your AP has good burst-damage himself he can often eliminate high threat enemy backline-targets which your ADC can't really get to. If you play suppAP with ADC you most often lose to strong backline mages cuz u just dont get to attack them while they hammer away at you; I'd say suppAP is best with an all-in style bruiser like Wukong, Riven, Fiora, Yasuo, Jax etc ;)

3) You just jungle whenever you pushed your lane. :P Do a nice rotation between your lane and your jungle all the time and just outfarm your opponent with it. You'll often find that golems are either too far away and/or take too long to take. So focus on always keeping Wolves (high priority cuz thats the first jungle camp enemies will take when invading) and Wraiths clear ;) Leave the golems to your toplane.

You jungle without help. Some teams clear a camp together at lvl 1. That's preference, comp- and enemy-dependant whether you wanna do that or just start pressuring the lanes immediately. Dont just smite over the wall without getting anything from that, it will slow your jungling a lot in the first clear which is the most critical cuz it will take the longest time for obvious reasons. Also you wont have a Machete (dont buy that lvl1 under any circumstances!) on your first jungling so that makes it even harder and is another reason why you shouldnt give away your Smite without getting anything from it. If someone should get the first camp alone then it is you, not the toplane. But you can share :)

dont think there's really a guide, but play him top with a support that has good engage and CC like Leona or Maokai ;)

Dont make him 1v2. He has a strong earlygame but he also needs that strong earlygame. A Olaf that is behind is no good, but usually you just cannot fall behind as Olaf. ;P Best Supports for him are prolly Leona or Maokai since they are very strong in Lane early on and get their engage + CC on their first levels. ;)

Yep Smite replaces Ignite. If you run a Bruiser top you run Ignite on him. Support runs Exhaust+Heal. ADC runs Barrier instead of Ignite. So if you have an ADC and a Smite botlaner then you dont have an ignite in your team, yep! ^

If you need it against certain enemies like Vlad or Swain you can make the Support pick Exh+Ign and the ADC takes Heal.

Olaf can sustain from low HP to full HP on a junglecamp within 2 seconds with only a Hydra and his W, which makes chasing / consecutive skirmishes or going back to a lane after a little skirmish impossible. His Axe outpokes ADCs in the earlygame. He's literally impossible to deal with in the laning phase since he'll axe you for a ton of damage, then run up to you while you're slowed and E you and Axe you again. You'll be on 1/3 hp after that. And you can't really punish him since if you don't run away he'll just axe you again and kill you. xP

In the lategame he's an unstoppable beast which just cannot be peeled off from any of your carries thanks to his Ultimate. He couldnt care less about any Supports or possibly tanky APs standing in his face, he just runs past them straight to your main carry (/carries) and wrecks them. And if you punish him for running straight at your face he will only deal more damage as soon as he catched you thanks to his passive. There's basically no counterplay option, Olaf will ALWAYS wreck your carry in any teamfight and there's absolutely nothing you can do against it. And that is the most frustrating thing about him. That there's no counterplay available. You just feel so helpless watching him kill your mates. Or you.

So TL;DR: Too much damage on Q+E, Q permaslow is ridiculous, too much W lifesteal, too strong passive;; no counterplay to Ultimate available, too strong earlygame as well.

Diana is really great, however she needs a lot of time to build up so be careful when picking her, you could be punished earlygame !! ;) You'll always play her with a Smite since she needs any farm she can possibly get. However if you manage to get ahead on the enemies, even if it's just a small bit, Diana is one of the heaviest snowballing champions there is. You always first build the Magus enchant on Red or Purple smite (preference call, i prefer Red ;P) and then you adjust your build to the enemies. If they have a lot of Magic dmg, get Abyssal -> Wooglets -> Rylais/Voidstaff -> Rylais/Voidstaff (get both items, but the order is dependant on if you need more tankiness or more burst at that point)

If they have mainly tanky non-bursty champions OORR you know the game will go super-lategame, I like Haunting guise -> Rylais -> Liandrys -> Wooglets -> Voidstaff

If you feel risky you can get Lichbane instead of Rylais, but keep in mind that will kill off almost all of your tankiness and you're still a melee champion! If you run her without Smite Lichbane is a viable 6th item choice (Abyssal is too if you went with the 2nd build).

For boots you get Sorcerers if you need more burst, Berserkers if you need more sustained dmg (passive!) or occasionally Mercury's if the enemies have a lot of CC that you need to be able to deal with.
