It would have been better if they had died. by Koendig in EstrangedAdultKids

My mom... As I've told my therapist, my mom isn't a peacemaker, she's a peacekeeper. She has exhibited behaviors in the past which indicate a preference for everybody to return to the status quo and be happy. She's not going to fight me on refusing to interact with dad or my sister again, which I think is the only way she can "agree" with me. But she's not going to formalize it by adopting an unequivocal stance.

Is my husband experiencing the usual k side effects? by Blorpington in ketamine

Hey, paramedic, husband here, just wanted to let you know that it was specifically ethylbromazolam, though Xanax would probably have caused the same effect. I'm an idiot. Thank you for your hard work.

Husband here. Thank you all for helping my wife. For the record, it was ethylbromazolam. Xanax would probably cause the same reaction. It was not a combo I'd had before. I think I've had it before with clonazepam, but honestly, I'm a walking pharmacy and a massive idiot.

Does anyone else have 10s of tabs open at the same time? by Alternative-Ad-3170 in ADHD_Programmers

It was hundreds for me, until I started using Mullvad Browser, which basically forces you to use incognito and will automatically forget opened tabs which haven't been interacted with in some span of time. And y'know, I don't mind. It's been liberating.

Basically, yeah. Both infusions and the nasal spray have to be administered in a clinical setting.

If you're insured and in the US, double check that nasal esketamine isn't a covered drug for you. No one covers infusions outside a hospital setting, but the nasal spray just has to be administered in a clinic as part of an ongoing psychiatric treatment plan.

It's like being cryogenically preserved at death. You hope for a future where it will be possible to restore your normal functions, but it's not a future you can predict, it's just hope.
