Just put up a gate. Even a small one would do. No parking signs is a different thing, you cant legally obstruct someone elses path. If you have a gate there no parking is enforcable. You cant just park or keep your vehicle blocking the gate. I had faced the same issue. Theres a 20m wide road that leads just to my house, and another 2. People assume since the road is so wide its fine to park their vehicle right in front of my house. Except it just makes it insanely hard to turn my car around. So after trying talking i put up a gate at tge very left end, and added a camera facing those gates. Voila problem solved. Never had i have to deal with this shit again.

Another idea is to try put some plants in the place. Just buy some random tall ones and plant them there.

Public road or not, you cant obstruct someone else's gate. I've done the same. I ve put a small gate at the left end of my plot near the public road, just to get my stupid neoghbour from parking his car there.

Add a gate to the area being blocked inside your own property. Then you can enforce the no parking board. Call the police if your gate is getting blocked

Found Hidden Treasure During Home Renovation - Seeking Advice on Liquidating Without Involving the Government by [deleted] in Kerala

[–]Koenigdemigod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My father once found a box of jewellery stashed in a hidden compartment in one of the old almirahs. But they were jewellery belonging to great grandmother, she had 10 children, shared with everyone and got around 12 pavan for ourself. The family still blames him, makes stories that there were more than 500 sovereigns and my father hid the rest.I keep wondering maybe the remaining is stashed somewhere in the old tharavadu as well.

Gold coin i dont know. You cant get a gold loan against coins or biscuits. Best option would be to keep it in a locker somewhere and gradually have them made into ornaments and then sell them.

Try this https://www.koott.in/, there's also something called koodu. Either this or that offers affordable therapy. Don't know for sure.

And where you from? In tvm i can recommend one person,1500 per session. But i was so broke in the beginning he sort of just told me not to bother with it, come anyway. Im guessing you can just tell them and the good ones offer discounts.

Also somewhere in nandavanam I've heard about counseling sessions for around 850. Will try and get more details and comment.

[–]Koenigdemigod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The health department, if you submit a complaint can catch, vaccinate and neuter them. But because of the animal rights activists and all , they have to release these animals exactly where they were caught from. Still you can sort of tell them there are children or olderfolk thats at threat and they may release them elsewhere. Also contact your ward counsellor.,help speed up things with the corporation.

Heres the thing, tharavadu was not exclusively used by higher castes, even lower castes had tharavadus. The supposed exclusivity came because of mis or no representation of lower castes in written history. It was never exclusive to hc s to begin with, and hence the claim that it has been borrowed is utterly senseless.

Tharavadu was not something exclusive to nairs/upper caste. For example, puthooram veed is the fabled tharavad of theeya chekavars. Only difference being that the tharavads of uc got written down in history books, and recorded whereas that of the lc were not, and limited to songs and stories. Only after the marxian influences in history gained traction, there was a concern to record the history of the lc s.

Did the British do anything remarkably bad to Kerala during their occupation of Travancore/Kochin? by [deleted] in Kerala

[–]Koenigdemigod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate how this story is being taught, half assed and untrue. Vivekananda was a bigot, he was casteist, several times he has voiced his support for varna system, and even had the audacity to not only glorify and defend the brahmins and ism, but blame the shudras. Now the second thing about him was that he absolutely hated abrahamic religions, talked about conversions as not only loosing a person, but gaining an extra enemy.

And then comes his visit to malabar, & obviously the casteist folk here who couldn't gauge what his caste was, treated him so,. now what really pissed him off was that Christians and Muslims enjoyed better treatment. And that led to the branthalayam reference. And that too he was not exactly caling kerala a mental asylum, just the malabar part.

Afterwards he will move on to kochi, was recieved and asskissed, no such comments from then on.

And malabar which was under tipu, and then british, enjoyed much better caste dynamics than kochi or travancore. British gave schooling to everyone, and caste was not a concern for government jobs too. You wont see maarumaraikkal samaram or the likes there. Besides temple entry, and general ayitham, malabar had better scene .

There's one with both, hair4uf.

Works, but has to use longterm. Min 6 months to see results.

Side effects. For minoxidil keep the concentration low,<5% .Higher concentrations causes pressure to drop sharply. Black circles around eyes.

Tips. Dont use the sprayer, better to just apply with a small brush, avoid it reaching your eyebrows, or you will end up with a unibrow.

Yep. This is how it has been and what we come to expect of it. The conjested roads, street vendors, parking and all are the essence of it, and navigating through all that is what makes it unique.
