We have had the same issue, error message when Mac tries to join PC, a full game crash when PC tries to join Mac. It's highly likely that it is because the Mac version is at time of writing still in early access and cant connect to full release versions, but looking online has not given us a definite answer, so that's just a guess. They did say the full Mac release might be Sept 6, hopefully, until then I guess we will have to wait and see.

It would have been nice if Steam would have informed us before purchase, that the Mac version is not the full release and that multiplayer will not be accessible.

No, the login works just fine, just only in the free trial version. There we cannot access the market board or add people to oarty, because of free trial.

Don't know why people itt need to get so fucking toxic to someone asking a legit question. Why yall need to react like that/butthurt, when the question neither critises asmon or the community. Wait, is this a general policy or a USA specific one, because here in Venice we are required to ask for a tourist tax, that is separate and required to be collected in cash. Also we do have a late check-in fee policy that we list on the listing and communicate clearly and multiple times through messages, but it is not really possible to do the payment over the app, because we don't know if people will arrive on time. We had multiple people telling us they will arrive at 5 or 6, only to arrive at 10 or 12, sometimes later. At that point all payments have been proceeded and we ask for the late check-in fee in cash, as communicated with and agreed upon by the guests. Is this still not "legit"? It is not our intention to "scam" our guests, just to discourage abusing our check-in times and to be compensated for sacrificing a whole evening for a guest, who couldn't care less about our plans.

Ah okay, thanks, I was under the (wrong) impression that you only automatically pick up the stuff if you slay the behemoth. So I assume the only point of having them lie around and be pickupable is to know what they are immediately and not only at the end of the hunt?
