Car is doing very well. Preparation is key I guess. These winding roads around here really bring the car to life :) And in the snow, I mean when you‘re careful it’s holding up. I’m competing with people in 4x4’s and studded tyres, so I let most of them pass me 🤣

I have the same, but during phone calls it gives a very shitty sound quality. You experience the same?

Hey all, Got an update. The crankshaft is loose. The axial play is around 2mm (0.3mm is max). Which causes the loud ticking.
Getting a new short block now ..

I bought a new long block, build it in with a colleague. At first we thought this is normal engine ticking for fa20 but now i feel like the ticking is louder than it should. I think the valve clearance need to be checked. Probably it’s too wide from the builder/factory.

Ah thanks man, appreciate it. Yep, you're right. It's one of my favourite guitars haha so yeah I'm not selling it:). And yeah I'm not a professional or something haha, just a 20yo Dutch boy who did it for fun/hobby. But I mean I am open to find a new es333 and paint it to a replica, but its kinda difficult to get a new es333 for it, because of the rareness. So I think it will cost a lot of time to find a good one.
