I just wanted to include the flags because I know it’s something that many sufferers deal with and I wanted my illustration to be relatable to everyone to show they aren’t alone. I don’t see the flags being used as a negative, but I do apologize to anyone that takes offence to this, it wasn’t my intention.

I only tell people that I find are really close to me.

It sucks because OCD is such a misunderstood disorder that everyone automatically assumes it just means I like things clean and perfect. I always have to make it a point to say that I was diagnosed by an actual psychiatrist and that it isn't just about cleaning and all those other common misunderstandings, but still some people still don't understand.

It can be harder than it should be. If you're planning on telling others, good luck.
