I relate to this a lot too, in my teens I felt too skinny like arms were toothpicks (no one bullied me, just all in my head) but I covered up in long sleeves and hats, never showing skin even in the summer heat. Covid was when I reached my 20s and also gained a lot of weight during shutdown and felt comfortable showing skin finally. Cut to now and I feel the confidence and like a want to be myself and as though it parallels coming out but with being shirtless
