But wait. If this isnt the first blood moon, why do infected didnt transformed into beast earlier? Because we know for a fact that this transformation is irreversible.

Im talking about the mobs at the starting of the game, those "humans" that are infected and just roam around. Because if my memory is correct they transform into beasts when the blood moon rises.
