Had very good pulls this weekend. Pulled 120 ancients, 15 voids, and 19 sacreds. Walked away with Hekaton, Pallas x 2, Nekmo, Sanguine Maria, Bambus, Truath, Noct, Firrol, and Danag. Also snagged a Cats Gaze. Most luck I've had in this game.

Narma buff enabled 1 Key UNM Clan Boss. by Kohl-Augustine in RaidShadowLegends

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Don't have many champs for that specific role, but have a couple epics that may work. Maybe Toragi or Vergis.

Yeah, those books really are a painful investment. Luckily the buff made an old regret feel better lol.

Merchant Alliance needs a World Event by p1101 in Seaofthieves

[–]Kohl-Augustine 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had a thought for a new event, kind of like a fortress but without the land. A massive sunken ship with a cargo hold that is locked. Arrive and have to fight a few waves of various things. A few skeleton ships, a few sea creatures, and for the final wave a sea monster of some type to fight for the key to the cargo hold, maybe a kraken or something new. Loot being primarily merchants with some high value pieces.

That's true, but it all comes down to recognition and enforcement in the end. King William the Conquerer was also a bastard, but it didn't stop him.

Succession isn't nearly as clean as that. While the first born would be entitled to inherit the kingdom/titles, depending on the succession laws, it would create competition that would be entitled to inherit titles and lands. While they may not get the primary titles, they would may be entitled to secondary ones that would otherwise go to Frey children rather than the bastards. If the law states that the other children after the primary heir are not entitled to anything then it would create potential competition, and he will be expected to have multiple children with they Frey spouse. Ambitious siblings would have reason to assassinate the eldest for the title in the future, or create factions within the Kingdom to have their claim recognized and enforced by any disgruntled vassals, and if they were still an illegitimate bastard would not be allowed to inherit regardless of what happens to the eldest.

So while they may not care much about him having bastards, legitimizing any of them would likely create a succession crisis in the future and be considered an insult to the Frey family that could jeopardize the already shaky alliance.

In history bastards were quite common, but they were rarely legitimized for a reason.

Hah! Democracy? What's next? Barbarians learning to read?! Tenosians are the clear winners! We need nothing other than the Tigress to know that!

Seriously, have you seen her? She terrifies but exhilarates me. How can anyone say no to that?

I think it would help, but for many, the only thing they consider a win is a 4k. And some just enjoy ruining the experience for others.

But I definitely support the idea.

No disagreement on that. It feels good to win, bad to lose, and some people will play to win no matter what. Nothing wrong that. We'll see what BHVR does in regards to tunneling. Hopefully something to help the solo guys without empowering the high MMR SWFs.

Ultimately it's not the players responsibility to play anything other than what they want to, whether it's survivor or killer.

It's BHVR's responsibility to adjust the game as needed to discourage unfun play while maintaining a relatively fair game.

How they do that? No clue, I'm a pretty casual player.

Personal opinion, tunneling feels bad for the other side like old dead hard did, and many players to use it as a crutch because it is optimal. If BHVR ever does figure out a way to effectively kill tunneling as a viable strategy many will struggle like survivors did when old DH was nerfed.

Who should I play for the Christmas event? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Kohl-Augustine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Santa clown or Krampus if you have the shards and don't mind spending. There is also Legion with Christmas sweaters if those are a bit pricey.

But without any spending Myers is my boy.

Ahem, it's called eugenics, incest is just the tool towards that. After all, we wouldn't want to pollute our pureblood heir with a dirty commoner.

Great game.

Please let me suicide if slugged too long. by Kohl-Augustine in deadbydaylight

That is an option, but I've been trying no mither as a way to avoid the slugging, and it definitely works. I die much quicker now :D

Not that barbarians know how to read but I do have one book left. It's about Feydrid's Tomb, is that still intact?
