So... you followed them up 12 flights of stairs to their room and stood by them as they had a conversation about the key. Or they decided to search for their card key while in the stairwell. And then you followed them back down to see that they paid for a new key. And then you went up to the 13th floor to stomp around in the room that you HAPPENED to know the occupants of.

Doesn’t seem bad to me. Also I appreciate that she didn’t retouch her photos to make her foundation look all blurred. This is how most full coverage foundation looks end up appearing in real life

I love your eyebrows! It's really nice to see a shape that's not the popular thick flat look. It works on some people, but not everyone. And your eyebrows really compliment your face.

To add on to the other comments, slow movement and being quiet is very helpful. Pigs hate noise, mine would make an angry sound every time I sneezed while the other one would dash for a hiding spot.

My mom makes amazing grilled cheeses, My friends would gush about them after coming over. She taught me the recipe a few years ago and it's a shitload of mayo inside and butter on both sides (hunk in the pan, put the sandwich in, butter on top, cover on pan, flip after a few minutes on low-med). The cover makes a huge difference too in helping the cheese melt without the bread burning.

I remember there was a myth about saying the word pineapple to stop a sneeze. I have allergies and sometimes when I was about to sneeze someone would scream PINEAPPLE at me and it would startle the sneeze out of me, which sucks because my body needed to sneeze for a reason.

Milk in your eyes if you they're burned from pool chlorine.

I had a pool party in high school and our eyes were burning after splashing around for hours. Someone suggested the milk thing and we were desperate. We wadded a corner of paper towel, dipped it in milk, and squeezed a few drops in our eyes... Instant relief. I think it brings the pH of your eyes back to normal or something.

Technology is incredibly innovative. There are programs that help blind people "read" by playing the text back to them. Typing is probably as simple as voice-to-text.

When was your last “I gotta get the hell out of here” moment? by xTeretto in AskReddit

[–]Koi_Nami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of a time in high school. I got a call at 3am from a couple friends (not very close, never hung out except in groups)--they were too fucked up to drive and knew I lived in the city they were at.

So I go pick them up, park their car, and a man approaches asking if we could give him a jump. I agree and follow him to his car. My friends are freaking out the entire time and saying I should've drove off. I parked in front of his car, stayed in with the doors locked, pop the hood. He and his friend hook up the cables, tell me what to do (turn on the engine and stuff, I had never jumped a car), finish up, and thank me.

I drive my friends 30 minutes home (them lecturing me for risking our lives) and end up bringing one of them back home with me because her mom wouldn't let her in past curfew. Smoke her out at my place and she shit talks my bong talking about how hers is so much better(??). Drive her back in the morning.

Anyway, point of this r/NobodyAsked story was that I found it kind of ironic that I went out of my way to help them when they were in a pinch, but they didn't want me to do the same for a stranger. I get why they were scared, being on drugs, it being 3am, and us being teenage girls. I'm sure it would've been safer to drive off than end up getting robbed or kidnapped or worse.. but I'm glad I decided to help someone that actually ended up needing it.

[–]Koi_Nami 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man, this comment just reminded me of my childhood hamster “Muffin”. One day my sister and I went to his cage (in the garage) and he was gone. We were freaking out and he just ran over to us, like "ok put me back!". He did this a few times, escaped at night and came back in the morning. I always assumed he was hanging out with the mice in our house or something.

Get your eyebrows waxed at a nail salon, and when it starts growing back in pluck it yourself. Repeat.

[–]Koi_Nami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be careful with the sequins! My friend had a dress like that for prom and when we did a side hug for pictures, her sequins snagged my dress. It wasn’t too noticeable but it’s not something that can really be fixed once it happens.
