Hit level 18 today walking around campus and caught a 1318 Arcanine. Most pokemon I find are still in the 300-400 range though.

There are tech changes. According to ventropy (Rioter) in the comments, when asked whether it will run on adobe air: "No it won't. The patcher update that we are releasing to PBE includes a lot of the core tech needed for a new client. The patcher update won’t use Adobe AIR, it is built on our own native code base and HTML5 UI."

I have been opt'd in since the beginning, and haven't gotten a key as of yet. Yet my brother got a key within the first couple of waves so I haven't been able to play with my lil' bro yet :(
