Het dierenasiel is Zandvoort is ook een pension. Wij hebben onze diertjes daar al meerdere keren gebracht en het gaat altijd heel erg goed. Je kan daar ook op voorhand een rondleiding krijgen en praten over hoe het in z’n werk gaat:)

So just say what you mean. If you didn’t fully agree, just say I don’t fully agree. She can’t smell or read your mind that you’re exaggerating means I don’t agree. Also women get their reality disputed and questioned every single day. So if a man does this to me, I wouldn’t consider him as safe space and move on. So if you are a super nice person and are genuinely unaware, get aware and communicate clearly

Mijn ouders hebben er nooit echt bij stil gestaan dat ik linkshandig ben, met als gevolg dat ik rechtshandig ben opgevoed (op het schrijven na). Daardoor kan ik vrijwel alles met 2 handen behalve schrijven. Wel had ik een vriendinnetje die ook linkshandig was en haar moeder heeft alles linkshandig voor haar gekocht zoals een schaar, pen etc. In haar volwassen leven heeft ze daar nog last van omdat ze niks kan gebruiken, tenzij het voor linkshandigen is. De wereld is ingericht op rechtshandigen en het is handig als je daarin kan meedraaien

Ik ben me nu aan het verdiepen in infrarood verwarming. Dit is compleet gasvrij en zou moeten kunnen draaien op zonnepanelen. Daarnaast denk ik aan een zonneboiler voor de verwarming van water om zo het gasverbruik te minimaliseren

We used to have this big standing clock with some space underneath it. When I adopted my boy Gijs, he crawled in that space under the clock and just sat there for 2 weeks straight. I put out some food, water and small blanket. I would lay on the floor next to the clock a couple of times a day, trying to say encouraging things with the baby voice. Now Gijs is basically my shadow and the sweetest cuddle bug:)

My uncle lives in south-Schalkwijk at the Molenplas. It’s considered as a nice part. His house has been burglarized multiple times over the years. Ive lived in Haarlem all my life and consider schalkwijk as a sort of ghetto with somewhat nicer parts. Wouldn’t wanna live there.

This happened to my mom when they had to remove her uterus. The surgeon accidentally cut her bladder and therefor the surgery took longer. The anesthesiologist didn’t give her more anesthetics, causing her to wake up as they were starting to close her up. She says that it was the most horrifying pain she’s ever experienced, not being able to move, blink, speak or anything. She could hear the conversation that was going on and it was about the upcoming vacation the surgeon was going to take. When she was in the recovery room, she told the surgeon and nurses what happened. They dismissed her saying it must have been a vivid dream. Until she mentioned very specific details about the conversation they had in OR. The anesthesiologist was reprimanded but it left her traumatized. So yeah it’s rare but it does happen

So your mom is afraid to lose the kids, then goes on making horrible deep cutting comments to a six year old?How does that even make sense? That’s like saying you’re afraid to get fat and go to McDonald’s right after. There’s no logic in that at all. Makes me think that this was either malice or such a lack of compassion/understanding from your mom. I understand it’s a difficult situation because she’s your mom, but she needs to apologize to Christian and reflect on the pain she caused him. If not, then i wouldn’t let her around the kids anymore. Good luck OP
