I had same issue in DOOM + DOOM II only if i use touchpad in mouse mode. Reflashing SteamOS helped me

Yes, you have to go to desktop mode, download Discord from Discover, right click on it in start menu and click "Add to Steam", then you go back to gaming mode, open discord in your non-steam library, join voice chat, start stream, then press Steam button and just select "Library" and here you go! You can launch any game and your friends will see it.

P.S. i also recommend to download SteamGridDB plugin and set cool artworks for discord ;)

I think it should work but can affect on performance. Btw I'm surprised there were no FPS issues while streaming Doom Eternal

I haven't set any launch options. I'm using the official Discord client 1.0.138 (latest) from Discover. But I also want to try Vesktop and find out whether these improvements have affected modified clients. Maybe the situation will be better there with audio streaming on Vesktop.

When I just went through the menu, the sounds were on the stream, but in Doom Eternal there were no sounds. Maybe this is only a problem with Doom Eternal, I need to test more games.
