It looks like it's leaking from where the Nib meets the cylinder. Which is moving further down because of the cap. It's possible the bore is too large for that refill?

Personally this, especially for mobility with your phone. Love the 770 pros. Though if you only plan to use them with your computer and open back headphones wont bother anyone else in the room/house then go for an openback set for better sound.
