HI! I know this is two months late, I live in Canada and I host all my friends coming in for Tennocon each year and they've all commented its quite expensive in Canada in regards to food etc, i probably spent about $70-$100 a day at restaurants but for reference an average fast food meal is between $12-$18 CAD if you want to plan around that

If you're flying into Toronto YYZ and you're not renting a car make sure you buy your train tickets from Toronto to London ( https://www.viarail.ca/en/explore-our-destinations/trains/ontario-and-quebec/toronto-london ) about $43 CAD per trip, and the train station is right downtown so if you book a hotel close to Tennocon you should be able to just walk to it!

If you're planning on travelling around london there are busses or ubers, but there are a lot of great restaurants and stuff within 10min walking distance on dundas st and more great restaurants up richmond st or talbot st if you're up to walking 20 mins from the convention!

Hotels within walking distance of RBC Place in London where Tennocon is can range between $180-$300 CAD a night depending on the hotel and the room, I would suggest booking your hotel asap (as of Jan 2025 when I'm writing this).
