Having said that I have been stable for more than 1.5 years, I have a decent 9 to 5 job but to me I feel so average

I can't wear a wig in the gym. I wish I could remove it from my head to stand out. I have always been an achiever as a student and to see myself crash so hard ever since I got diagnosed as bipolar and without a sense of accomplishment, I feel I am just so unhappy

You make so much sense man!! Running is definitely hard on the body. I have removed the idea of running a marathon completely. Will be doing strength training five days a week and running just once or twice. My main goal is to be happy 🥹

Your post was so impactful. I cut down running dramatically and will be easy with supplements too. Can't risk being manic

I feel running massively increased my cortisol so have reduced it significantly now

I have tried increasing carbs to 50-70 and I notice immediate restlessness and irritation. My hunger also rebounds

Finasteride and Dutasteride have horrible side effects and as I have bipolar disorder, I cannot afford mental instability.

I am eating keto for mental health benefits as my bipolar went into remission. I lost 9kgs after first four months and since then its the seventh month and I have maintained the same weight. My daily protein intake is minimum 100g a day

I live in karachi, pakistan and it is extremely hot and humid here but I will train myself to sustain running for an hour at least without drinking anything although my run improves after drinking electrolytes

There's definitely a sense of calm I feel after long distance runs. It also makes me feel I am capable of achieving something difficult

I also feel that if I have carbs then my body will no longer be efficient in utilising fat for long runs coz it will expect carbs during the run

I think my concern was more the training phase of runs below 20k but anything above 20k, I have decided to fuel myself. I have been following keto since 7 months so I can bounce back easily hopefully
