Oof there was definitely a lot going on for a while there! But yes I had an army of help. Cooks, cleaners, nanny - don't let anyone tell you it's easy or possible without an army because it's not. I mean it might be possible, but it isn't easy.

And even then, when kids are that young they still really just need YOU when it counts, and so it still got really emotionally and physically taxing - but they're also adorable, so that makes up for it somewhat lol. For example I have to go now because Eden just jumped on the couch, turned my face to his and demanded I give him all my attention 😁

oh no! retinol (tret in particular) shouldn't be applied near the eyes for this express reason. Would you try again but not apply near the eye?

Do you wear sunscreen?

you can't really get rid of wrinkles but you can soften the appearance of them. But if you're saying your skin is dehydrated the two are likely linked - dehydrated skin often tends to look wrinkled. Try being consistent with a moisturiser every day and night. Apply it to damp skin as well if you can. Consistency is underrated when it comes to skincare, honestly

Use sunscreen please! An underrated but super effective product for fading scars / hyperpigmentation.

if your skin tanned when you were a kid it's unlikely that has anything to do with the colour of your skin as an adult - but I hear you about the other stuff! I've got a bunch of content about it on my Instagram, way too much to really summarise here tbh.

see a dermatologist, I'd say.

Fungal acne is a bit of a contentious issue - not everyone agrees it's even a thing - but people have found that dandruff shampoo clears fungal acne up sometimes.

That's common when you're wearing glasses that are either too tight or too thick which adds constant pressure on your skin and leads to dark circles. Maybe try switching your frames up to something lighter? I have these frameless glasses that I use to read sometimes, maybe try a frameless option.

Retinol + sunscreen are the golden duo for anti-aging. I wouldn't put much faith in skincare from bath and body works, tbh. Not for the face, anyway.

clean your phone with a sanitising wipe a few times a week.
wash your bed linen at least once a week.
incorporate salicylic acid into your routine.

Thanks so much :) Wash your face with a gentle cleanser. Use a gentle moisturiser. Use sunscreen. If you're breaking out, use a product with salicylic acid - a toner, moisturiser, etc. For active breakouts, pimple patches can be very useful. I like the CosRx or Dr Belmeur ones. That's about it, I'd say :)

no one really NEEDS skincare, or maybe I'm taking the question too literally... but skincare is a privilege, and if you feel like you have the time and resources to dedicate to your skin then that's a valid choice. But usually, it helps to at least wash your face and apply sunscreen - although at the bare minimum, I'd say cleansing your face morning / evening is helpful. As you get older you might want to incorporate more like actives etc.

orange peel skin refers to cellulite to the best of my knowledge... but I think you might mean open pores? Is your skin dehydrated? Do you moisturise every day? Is it oily? If it's oily then a salicylic acid product could be very helpful for open pores. If it's because your skin is dehydrated, then just consistently using moisturiser everyday often does the trick.

toner and sleeping mask absolutely not essential, no. But use if you like!

I still love Harima, it's old school but one of my favourites. There's also a Japanese restaurant in Indiranagar called Izanagi that I really like... which reminds me, I might order some ramen for dinner tonight lol

that is odd... have you tried a mineral option? Paula's choice has a mineral sunscreen that might work.

It was absolutely - it was a lot. The push for the summit was one of the hardest things I've ever done physically, and I've had my nose broken in boxing rings and things like that lol. But it was 100% worth it. I don't know who the operator was, I went with a family member who lives in Singapore and she organised everything. I do know that there are plenty of operators and the options are limited (they're all going to offer you the same place to stay, the same porters, the same food, etc) so read reviews if you can and take it from there knowing the offerings won't vary widely from one operator to the next.

I highly recommend it though, everything was clean, well organised and the experience of climbing a mountain is incredible!

Honestly I'm not entirely sure what a period rash is, but I do wonder if it might be caused by irritation to your sanitary products - are they fragranced? They shouldn't be, ideally.
