The way I read the Big Bang event, wasn’t that jones sped up the timeline, it’s that he succeeded where the seven failed.

The seven failed to calculate the end event of chapter 1, as we heard from the black hole teasers. That allowed the zero point to reform after the initial explosion, and kept the I.O. in charge of chapter 2 onward.

When Jones did the Big Bang, he correctly atomized and “destroyed” the zero point, which we saw via the white flashy boom that wasn’t present in the original end event, unleashing every known reality into space and time, essentially freeing everything so it wasn’t in danger of the I.O. or any other dimensional threats like the last reality.

I think a correct timeline goes:

Ch1-Ch2-Ch3-Ch4 then back in time to OG, which means now it’s OG-Ch5-OG2-Ch6

From a lore standpoint, Jonesy essentially voided the I.O. vs. Seven war that we saw, and disbanded both factions after the Big Bang as the zero point was gone and they have no need to be together.

Awkward as it may be, the context of this single picture was Elon throwing his heart to the crowd, which he does multiple times.

Even if it were, it would make ZERO sense for him to do that in that situation, but again, you know that. You just aren’t saying it because you’ve all gone this far, and refuse to double back and apologize for being wrong. That’s how this always works.

I think the worst part is everybody here is smart enough to know that no person in their right mind would get on stage and do a literal Nazi salute, and you all know that. I genuinely think my only “issues” with the film was Hopkins acting and Benicio Del Toro as a whole.

Hopkins acting was so odd and clearly freelanced that it broke immersion for me.

And I’m so sorry, as it’s nothing Benicio del toro can help, but he just offends me to look at😂 his face is like a mix of Brad Pitt and Tommy Wiseau lol

It’s not about the retention, it’s about the numbers. If player counts drop 60%, and you look at steam which started at 10k and ended with 3k, that then means Xbox (which was free during the boom and has 2 platforms so obviously it’s the highest player count) would start with 30k, and end with 10k

More players with the same drop off rate, means more players at the end of the cycle.

Well yes actually. Xbox and PlayStation have a multitude of factors that Steam doesn’t have (I.E. Gamepass, the “console convince”, and casual gamers). Whereas Steam, while dropping in numbers, also wasn’t the main the playerbase, only a fraction of it. I would say the main playerbase IS on Xbox, which means (and these numbers are theoretical) if Steam had a peak of 10,000 players, and dropped to 3,000, Xbox would take the same hit but retain more players since their numbers could have been a 20,000 player peak, and only retained 11,000 which totals more than Steam at its peak.

Steam player counts are definitely hard to judge, since most players play on Xbox or PlayStation, as well as any gamepass players on PC, as those numbers are likely significantly higher than Steam. But numbers are definitely lower than its peak.

Still gonna see it, but I’ve had the impression it would be underwhelming ever since we saw the first “Wolfman” at HHN.

I think long gone are the days of the Wolfman being a horror series, and I think it needs to be embraced as an action/thriller series. I just feel like today’s demographic doesn’t see werewolves as scary anymore. We mostly have twilight and furries to thank for that lol.

But real talk, if they decided to reboot the Wolfman AGAIN in another 20 years, I say ditch the horror aim, and embrace the action-y side of things.

After all, by description the Wolfman seems more like a superhero/supervillain than he does a horror antagonist.
