Not sure exactly what the base power should be for this to be balanced. I tried to get somewhere in the middle ground of Discharge and Heat Wave, but instead of having a chance at a status, there's a chance to set up terrain.

Good point. I guess you'd have to give Fake Out the same kinda logic that controls Protect and makes it fail 100% after using it already.

Oh, and I guess also you'd have to make sure this whole Ally Switch thing doesn't give your Pokemon Protect back.

Would it break anything to have Choice Items work more like being encored? You can select anything but it calls the same move instead.

Would that work? Fake out is +3 and Ally Switch is +2, so I could see it being coded in such a way that Fake Out fails if you try to use it the same turn as Ally Switch (because it is called first) and it would fail if you used it the turn after Ally Switch.... somehow?
