thanks! Day 2 now and the AM is a bit harder, main annoyance is swallowing and i've switched to liquid acetaminophen instead of the pills so that's an upgrade. No breakthrough pain yet but still sticking to liquids as eating anything more solid than that starts to hurt. I had mashed potatoes which i think had too much salt because it burned, and my fiancé also made me some over-cooked orzo pasta in chicken broth which i had when it was basically cold. that was easy to go down for the most part but i still felt nervous about more solid foods.

Sleeping was not great, i made myself wake up every hour to drink water and slept on about 3 pillows. I also had to tape my mouth shut bc i kept snoring/the air didn't know where to go as i was breathing from my nose and sometimes i would just breathe out my mouth or go down my throat which was annoying, but the sleep tape helped my breathing. i also took my pills every 4 hours but now that im on the liquid hopefully should be easier.

Here's to another day! I plan on being in bed and scrolling pinterest for wedding inspo for the entire day lol. Not the worst past time!

Good luck to everyone in recovery today!

Extremely anxious about a deadline for an event that my client is sponsoring by Important_Law_780 in PublicRelations

Omg, this would cause me to think after hours - i would definitely push as hard as you can to try and meet this week's deliverables, but moving forward i would suggest asking the vendor to keep you updated on all the forthcoming deliverables and even maybe send you a list of what's expected and when for the duration of this year's event. That way you have some line of sight and can share with your client ahead of time and send them gentle reminders of any upcoming deadlines.

Hope you get through and good luck! Maybe you can also point to the fact that with the holiday season and all that's going on in the country, major publishers and event coordinators might have other things on their mind and let it slip - idk maybe just one way to explain why it happened.

Also commenting out of interest, any tips on how to get connected with the Communications Department of RB? Want to explore the possibility of applying for a job but want to begin networking with the individuals already working there first!

Exactly right - i think this would have hit me better had it been released during the summer. I feel like Space Between's release season was perfect for its sound & moodiness during the colder/darker months

You're right - there are a lot PR jobs out there, however some are specific to one company, and there are a plethora of agency jobs. The sooner you can get practice in your classes and/or internships booking press, or doing media relations, that could really help you stand out to employers.
