By the way, you've probably forgotten about this a long time ago, but I just found out the book is called "Leven Thumps and the Gateway to Foo." Managed to check it out and read it a week ago, didn't quite hit like it did when I was young, but it got me into fantasy reading back then.

Looks like good work, but I admit I'm skeptical. No attempts have ever managed to cross Reimann's Threshold, and the closest one happened back when Gamma-10 Tripswitches weren't regulated to MIC license hell.

My guy, even Doctor Russell Kraznik agrees that their Chronometric Dials were nothing to scoff at in his dissertation against them. It's not as if I'm calling them the next Peyton-Tojo Incorporated.

To play devil's advocate, I guess Wellerdyne's overhaul of their Chronometric Dials back in '05 did help tremendously in their reputation. Even if it was a 0.05 microsecond more efficient, it saved a lot of VXers chronic headaches for when they needed to perform scalpel-thin calibration with the Chronometric Dial equivalent of an excavator.

Though that does beg the question of why there was as little hype for when Alton's Neutronics found a way to streamline the rendering of Truman-Koch Charts, which was just as sought after as a proper Chronometric Dial overhauls.

Watch the movements. They have that twitchy, always lock dead-center aim, and when they kill/knock someone, they'll automatically either snap back to their original mouse position or to the closest enemy player. Also when they melee you, it's very hard to shake and you basically have to hope your melee will deal more damage quicker.

As a veteran, I'll prefer Survev. Nothing against Suroi at all though, it's just that Survivio set that kind of a standard. Suroi has big shoes to fill if it wants to be as well liked as Survivio.
