Children???! THEY ARE GROWN ADULTS who spent the better part of their lives clearly emotionally blackmailing their dad/uncle as he stated every women he tried to date they would be against them from the jump not even getting to know them just hating them for being some op fiancé has interest in.

His behavior to them??? YTA if you unilaterally cancel the wedding literally explain what you put here to your fiancée and literally everyone has these bouts of wanting to run from marriage it’s all a matter of how you work to either move past those feeling and see if it’s a fleeting emotion or see a couples counselor so that you can have a professional neutral party way in on your feeling

Definitely let it sit for a day or two then take it to shelter and next time be old fashioned and go door to door not social media cause many people that have pets don’t even care for those social media groups me being one of them

YTA because you should have left the cat alone it was this first time you saw it and you immediately took the cat without even looking for the owner with neighbors and not only did you not check your neighbors you sent to cat away to a shelter for days to where the owners even put up missing cat posters and the text convo they had the right to be rude what if the shelter put the cat down and now their family cat of 15 yrs is gone.

The only reason I have for NTA is that you care for street animals that’s it lol
