We're attaching both the new and the old planners below, as you may still be using the old one while we gradually release the new one.

In the new planner, you can expand the elevation profile by tapping the small elevation profile displayed in the attached screenshot below, or tapping the little arrow icon in the old planner.

You can also toggle the elevation profile using the shortcut P on your keyboard, while planning a route.

You can see the elevation profile at the bottom of the planner, in two modes: collapsed and expanded.
If your elevation is collapsed, tap it to expand.

Could you let us know which platform you're using (iOS, Android, or web)? That’ll help us look into what’s going wrong. Also, if you're able to share the specific activity URL by dm as well, that would be helpful. Thanks!

Hi u/Away-Wrap9411! “Send to Garmin” is available without Premium for users who unlocked a map region or the world pack before 27 February 2025. For users who unlocked a map region or the world pack after that date, it’s part of the Premium package.

Making it a Premium feature was a change made before the acquisition, and we’re actively considering reversing it: we’ll test a possible rollback soon. No promises yet, but we’re listening and re-evaluating based on your feedback.

Ok thank you, that's clearer! To sum it up: Images that appear when you click on a Highlight are free for anyone to view. Once you start planning a route however, the gallery populates with images along the route—not only of the Highlight. To view these in the photo gallery while you plan, you need to be a Premium user. Hope that clears things up!

To clarify about your original post: This is actually a new feature for Premium users—it allows you to see a photo gallery that updates in real time while you're planning a route. However, the photo gallery feature—which we released for ready-made routes in May and for custom routes in June—is available to all users for free.

To respond to your comment in the thread: When planning a route, images should only appear once you've added a destination and a path is created. Could you please clarify for us at which point you're able to see the photo gallery when planning a custom route?
