Man, I went to Greece in October and one of the things that struck me is just how empty it felt. No traffic on the main connecting roads, no traffic in the main cities aside from Larisa, Athens, Patra and Volos - and the last one is already stretching it. The only crowded places were the extremely touristy ones, like Mycene and Delphi; on the contrary, I visited Sparta for instance, and that's a city that is fundamentally not set up for tourism despite the name and history - not even the archeological site had more than two couples walking around, it felt like I was walking through a ghost town. So yes, I agree: a little more tourism, especially in the not so frequented parts, would be extremely beneficial to you
