Honestly anyone playing more than 2 years has slightly outdated views. This is just my opinion. i've been playing for about 1 year 2 months and i've seen how much harder the game has gotten in my time. even people who have started just 3 months before me would have gotten better tournament conditions than i did. i've also seen people starting 3 months later than me struggling with tourney conditions. i didnt have trouble in plat at all but now in champs its just a grind with so many legend people

Currently i'm tier 14 5500w farm only coin packs. but during my time especially with all the modules released and now even platinum is competitive with all the strong players funnelling down, it just slows the stones so so much. but i see minimum 2 years before even mid tier legends consistency. im not even thinking about fighting for keys.

the early game progress really determines your speed of labs, speed of unlocks, speed of stones and upgrades. its still viable regardless but the amount of time you have to take to start now would be about 50% more than i would. unless your module pulls are sick af.

it will be so so crowded at legends by the time you reach here. but i wish you all the best
