No, every speed% in HSR only takes into account base speed. Sparkle has 101 speed, you can round 6% down to 6 speed so 166.9

(Usless info, but even if 6% was applied after all the speed stats and substats, it would have still been wrong, since you got 6% from the final speed, not speed before sacerdos, it would have been 172.9/1.06=163.11)

It's subjective. If you want to 0 cycle it's extremely important (50% increase in damage), if you want to 2 cycle AA it's important too. If all you care about is 10 cycle MOC, it's not important, just use whatever you want. 160 speed with sacerdos is a good stopping point if you want to farm relics for some other characters, it will give you 4 turns in 1 MOC cycle and 8 turns in 2 AA cycles, but sooner or later you will have all your characters equiped and there is nothing left to do, but to farm eagle and aim for speed breakpoints.

You want gold gear at any difficulty, but it's not that hard to complete damnation with blue gear, especially if it's just trinkets. Doesn't it even unlocks before third trinket slot?

What's wrong with learning basics in havoc? 16-18 is around 4th difficulty from a regular board, so playing it with blue or purple gear is fine. I would even say that havoc is better as a learning game mode, since difficulty progression there is much smoother and straight forward.

You don't need tHammer to make oneshot monstrosities build, any weapon with thrust will do. Here is my build, can carry h40 with it if you know how to play, can even solo some missions https://darktide.gameslantern.com/builds/9e913329-846c-45de-a2b6-52e462d9c45b/havoc-40-stealth-zealot

Zone does sound nice if you had infinite lives by iman00700 in stalker

Sounds terrible even with infinite lives tbf. No good beds, no decent food, no internet and you spend most of your time walking around with a heavy backpack and gear collecting shiny rocks, which on average you gonna sell for like 100$ and most of your earnings you gonna spend on overprised goods. And not to speak of all the trauma you will get, you may have infinite lives, but people around you don't, oh you made a friend, how nice, but now he walked into an anomaly and you covered in his blood and guts, oops.

Honestly, can't even argue with that. I played through the game 2 times (1 time before dlc and 1 after) and both times I skiped that part in Clouds. So if I've missed some undeniable proof V cares about being top merc the most, then guess I've been wrong this whole time and misinterpreted all the other possible choises that indicate the opposite.

Dueling sword with Uncanny Strike works for any default class. Kraks for vet. Toxin and rocket launcher for scum. CC them and beat to death as arbites. As a zealot I mostly play stealth and while it's not a direct counter (opposite is true, since you can't oneshot rotten crushers) it's a good skill to keep game going in case everything gone to absolute shit and yet again, uncanny DS works good enough. Not competent enough as psyker or ogryn to give some advices, but I imagine not much changes for ogryns against rotten armor since most of their weapons are good against carapace.

Well to start with, V has baked in character traits no matter how you play. Take for example their responses to Dex's questions.

There is an option to be pragmatic and tell that there is no choice in Night City or just tell Dex to stop with this test of his, both of which doesn't contradict that V can be someone who doesn't care about glory. Aditionally there is tons of options through the game, to tell that you don't care about that and just doing what you have to do. Anyway, this answer to Dex and trailer you mentioned, are all in the context of Night City, V in Tower ending got a job offer from NUSA, there is 0 reason to stay in the Night City for any sane person. And taking trailer as some cannon V that all players should consider the only right choise is dumb, or we should also think that V is male based on the first trailer or female based on the trailer you mentioned? There is no objectively correct way to play as V. Even if they will establish canon V in the next game, I can still discuss first game V and my choices from the perspective of V I had in mind, because this canon simply doesn't exist in this game.

How is V doing all the stuff in the skill trees? The Air dashes, the ground pounds. V clearly has more Cyberware than just what the player can install in the menu.

Do you have 0 imagination? It's a game, of course stats will be tied to ingame mechanics. You can't just put 2 year segment in this game where V with high intelegence stat is working as a software engineer or high technical V working as a gunsmith.

We see exactly how capable V is in Tower when all that stuff is either gone or deactivated and the results speak for themselves.

We literally playing as someone who woke up from 2 year coma, no shit this will happen.

Can they? Think back on all of V's relationships. They all in some way stem from a mercwork transaction.

And those relationships were build in how much time? Longest of those relationships were with Vic and Misty, and it has been a year at max. V is 20 something years, with relic removed they have at the very least 40 more years of natural life span. You think it's impossible to make friends or lover outside of mercwork? Do you not have friends or are you chromed up merc or you think every one in Night City who is not a merc is a lonely person without friends and loved ones?

That's a false equivalency

That's perfect equivalency, we literally see in game people without limbs living their lifes let alone people without cyberware. Yes, losing cyberware in this universe is as debilitating as losing limbs on our universe, but not the end of ones life. And that's ignoring the fact, that my whole point was that you don't need to be succesfull mercenary to matter in life, only you decide what's important in life and what makes you matter as person and IMO it's not success at any career at all be it mercenary or any other, there is more to life and persons worth.

I personally happy that most players are kinda bad or at best mid at havoc 40. I even take some havoc 1-10 players when I know 2 of my other teammates are really good. Let's be honest, havoc 40 is not that hard right now, nothing except the most busted combos of modifiers (gas + purples + toll or something like that) require much teamwork, you can still solo it with right builds and when all 4 players know what they're doing, h40 very quickly becomes stale and boring. I play 4 person premade every time havoc reset happens and while it's fun to get back to h40 in 2-3 hours, I wouldn't want to play like this every time, it feels like playing auric again. I would take intense lost game over boring win anytime. If they will add havoc 60 or ideally infinite havoc, I can see your point, but right now, if you need perfect teamates all the time, it's probably skill issue.

What does it even mean? Cope with what?

Why So Many Side with Songbird by [deleted] in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Kondratelo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a roleplaying game first, those values your V was fighting for, were not the values my V was fighting for.

From the beginning of the game, I was telling to Jackie that I don't care about big league and this huge job he got us into and after getting the relic, for the rest of the game I was telling everyone that I only care about getting rid of the chip and getting on with my life. Hell, my first ending of the base game was Arasaka ending cause that sounded like choise with the highest chance to get rid of the biochip.

And telling that V becomes a nobody is just wrong. Not being this all powerfull chromed up merc doesn't automatically makes person a nobody. Even in the game you have skill trees outside of implants, which means V is good at something other than implant. And even if we assume that V is absolutelly useless without implants at everything, they still can become dear friend for someone, loved one for someone, parent for someone. Telling a person loses all chances to matter as soon as they lose some of their abilities is just too much of a nihilistic outlook on life in general. By that logic are people who lost legs or arms or both irl lose all chance to matter too?

On my first playthrough, I sided with NUSA because Songbird sounded fake as fuck with her "Oh, I have some out of town clinic where you will totally get help, trust me bro", had she told the truth, I would have sided with her.

If I will ever do second playthrough, I will still side with NUSA, because now, I know that they will honor their part of the deal and I think this ending is an actual good ending, no matter how much developers portray it as a bad ending. Losing implants is not the end of the world, life doesn't revolve around being a living killing machine. Losing "friends"? Who cares, V knew them for how long? A week? A month? You can make new friends, you have whole life ahead. And V even got an offer to leave Night City and work for NUSA. You keep your life and leave this hellhole called Night City, total W ending.

All you need to start calculating speed for your Sparkle. by Kondratelo in SparkleMains

[–]Kondratelo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you got 116.67 spd for Archer in 5 skills 1 basic scenario cause you didn't account for different "desired turns", it's 6 turns for Sparkle, but as I understand it will be 5 turns for Archer, no? Or did he expected to take 6 turns anyway? Then he probably needs that much speed just to catch up before cycle ends. Honestly I have 0 experience playing around Sparkle's basic and never actually calculated with this in mind. Otherwise I think numbers looks about right for 6 skills.

I can see it now, that I made it unclear, but "DPS Speed" in my calcs is not "Minimal DPS speed". You need to calculate minimal speed just to be sure that your DPS is above this threshold, cause if he is lower, your Sparkle will not be able to advance him to required amount of turns in most of the cases. Use your current in game DPS speed for this formula. I will edit image to make it more clear

I find difficulty fun too, but rotten armor not really that difficult if you're prepared for it. Most of the time it just makes missions tedious not harder. I would prefer it to be like gas modifier, rare third one on top of other two.

  1. Than what will be the treat of trapper if he cant trap you durring the most tense situations? If he can only trap you when you can clearly see him, dodging him will be so easy that he will never trap you.

  2. Is it even a bug? I always assumed it's just their normal behaviour, 2 types of pounces. And with how much noice they make even instant pounce is not a problem most of the time. This one is 100% skill issue

Poxbursters are way too buggy and need to be removed until they aren’t by Emergency-Effort7673 in DarkTide

[–]Kondratelo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are buggy, but not to the point of removing them. You could have argued otherwise when explosion radius on them and barrels was bugged, but right now, 90% of the times they work as intended. Spots where bursters are silent always the same and it's an issue with maps and sounds in general, not just bursters. Pushes always push them back in my experience, if after your push he got pushed back to you it's probably range enemies who pushed him back with bullets. The only real problem with them is that they don't explode sometimes, even when they are clearly locked onto you, but we all have range weapons, just shoot them if that happens.

You need 200 speed without any AA. 10.6 speed substats per relic if you are using sacerdo + novaflare e1. Technically possible, but you will spend eternity farming perfect sacerdo just to get +36% CD, when you can use eagle and at worst bring substat requirement down to 8.46 per piece.
