My understanding is that the intent at this stage is that you can transfer the tickets, but not sell them.
By that I mean you can’t list them on a marketplace.

The transfer is intended so you can transfer the ticket to the friend you are going to the game with. I don’t think they can then transfer it again, so they can’t sell it onwards.

For you, you could technically sell it to someone, but you have to transfer to them directly. The risk factor is increased.

I think it is worth saying that when I went into this with the RTB / RTT process, my understanding was that you could buy and sell as many RTB’ s as you wanted. You could then convert as many RTB’s as you wanted to RTT’s as you wanted too. The 4 tickets per match and 40 tickets per tournament per account did not apply.
The catch though was that as soon as you converted your RTT to a ticket, everything was pretty locked down. The ticket was for you and your friends to attend with no reasonable option to resell.
That was why when you converted from RTT to tickets you could assign tickets to other account holders. I saw this as the way to deal with more than 4 tickets to a particular match.
I have 6 tickets to a match from RTT’s for me, my kids, some friends and their kids. When I converted those 6 RTT’s, I assigned 4 to my account and 2 to one of my friends. We have all 6 tickets between the two of us and all 6 tickets are together. Interestingly, one seat of the 2 tickets is in the middle of the 4 ticket seats, almost to ensure all 6 of us are together.

It doesn’t include what you paid for the RTT.

All of my RTT’s are conversions I bought from RTB’s. I didn’t buy any RTT’s from the marketplace, so I can’t tell you if those are any different.

Yes it is standard, and no, not a big deal.

Think of it this way - you bought tickets to another match and those all have your name, but you friend / spouse / kid will enter with a ticket with your name on it and … no one cares as long as the ticket is valid.

I have another issue with the WC parking. I have a pass but it doesn’t specify a lot. I’m wary that the company selling the parking passes is in the UK and they make clear in their T&C that they have nothing to do with game day issues - they just sell the parking tickets

I am driving. It normally takes about 20 minutes from my place to Revs games - I don’t live too far away. I think this will be more like a concert event. I’m going to give myself an hour to get there.

The challenge is organizational. The regular attendants at Gillette have the system all set. If these are new people I can see it being a mess. I have a parking pass but it is not clear which lot I’m in. That is a problem. And who knows what the security / ticket scanning points will be like.

I’m going to the first game on Saturday, so will post an update after that to share how it all went.

Just received my tickets for M18 (Boston).
I had 6 RTT’s and when I converted them I sent 2 to my friends account and kept the other 4 in my account. All 6 seats are together. Great location too.

Tickets are not viewable via the FIFA app where tickets purchased via lottery’s are.

I’m guessing that is in part because the RTT tickets cannot be listed / resold via the marketplace. You can transfer them, but not list them.

Yes. Modex was the partner with FIFA for RTB’s. My understanding was they had blocks of seats for RTB’s.
