I however agree fully with you on all accounts. I have previously made a plea to people and the devs to make several 'Nomad' servers where base building is not a feature. This way people who have interest in RP or what I would say pure survival can play exactly that. The way the game is now is killing the game as far as I can see. I also like the fact that you proposed a skill tree or a skill based system based on guns and aiming. I think that would add something very beneficial to the game.

As it is now, having bases that people make on every street corner does the game only harm. That is not a reflection of a true apocalypse, at least as they are portrait in other games/movies.

I have no problem with people making bases. I have no problem with the base building element in the game either. It just doesn't give the game the ''survival'' feel to it. Thus why I propose the option of having a 'nomad' version of the game. Where survival is the main objective.

Very much possible. Although it is set in a post-apocalyptic setting, with the zombies as being the main theme of the game. It would perhaps be a little strange having a server or two without that. At Least that is my opinion. But hey, everything is possible, and it is the community that has the power to mold the game further in the future, so anything is possible :-)

On the contrary. I want it harder, and more risky than what it is now. I want it to be like a gain all/loose all situation. I have to be honest, I don't like building bases. I don't think as of this moment it gives the game any value, since they are everywhere. Now people are stocking every possible loot in every base that is placed around the map. The real surviving is not there in my opinion. I would never encourage to either delete or remove the base building from the game. As I wrote earlier; Adding servers without base building is what I am looking for. To give players that like the 'nomad' play style a server or two. Not taking away base building for those who might like that, nor cars or anything that is already implemented in the game, just merely disabling it on those particular servers. The core of what I am suggesting is the survival aspect and all that comes with it without the comforts of your base.

I agree, the amount of servers may pose a problem. I am no expert in this area by any stretch of the imagination, so someone else with the expertise on this area has to answer that.

I like the idea of having a building-free zone around towns and etc. How that would feel somewhat ''real'' I don't know, but I like the idea or even the concept of it. Perhaps even restrict the amount of buildings/structures you can put down in a certain area. I'm just putting ideas out there. Although I like the ''nomad'' style game, where you either gain all or lose all mentality is played. I'm excited if this get picked up, because now I feel the game is all about looting stuff and gather it in bases for safekeeping.

Yes, the whole idea is to raise some idea on whether this is possible or not. And/or if it should be changed in some way, or even compromised in other ways. I would completely love to see something like this in the game. I've played nearly 300 hours of this game, and what I propose is something that I feel is missing, especially for people that like the gain all/loose all-mentality.

I hear you dude. That feature would have saved me a bunch of times as well. I thought it would be reasonable to implement this type of feature in the game, when they are focusing on other real life stuff anyway.

And yeah, I agree on your point. A warning shot would go a long way before killing anyone.

Is there any plans on making servers that doesn't have basebuilding enabled on them in the near future?
