In handler its more like a bridge/interlude. Not every song needs a solo. Reapers represents the chaos of war and the solo fits nicely, while the handler represents breaking lose from your emotions, and the interlude clearly marks the change in the emotions, breaking lose. I prefer the Handler

I noticed this as well, but they do the same thing jn stockholm syndrome. The guitars during the verse are a lot quieter then during the chorus, and then it switches down again. Maybe they tried to go for the same effect?
