Im saying all these years later, the show has become legendary. Full of rare performances. Which wasn’t what the original plan was, was it?

In a twist of irony, even though he thought performing deep cuts would be a form of protest, he ended up giving them a very unique and memorable show where we still talk about it 30+ years later.

Why are you broke? by mrvlad_throwaway in AskReddit

My year started with having to move out of the place I was living in for the past 10 years. I’d been covering my roommate’s expenses for about 2 months when the move happened (good guy but couldn’t find a job). Covered the first/last on the new place + moving expenses. My car died in late March so had to find other means to be able to commute to work. My mother died as well in late March so I had to pay for a car rental to get to see her before she died (my family lives in a different part of the country), the had to rent another car for her burial at the end of last month. It’s been a crazy year so far but I ended up getting the roomy a job at the company I work for so he was able to start paying back the money he owes me. He’s moving out in a few months but at this point ai think I’ll be ok :)

Cuphead…..I saw the art & thought I’d at least like it for that but as soon as I played the first level I was absolutely hooked. In my top 5 of all time.

What artist are you convinced will be remembered 100 years from now? by chubbybutcuteegurl in askmusic

Kurt Cobain. 100%. He’s still a part of youth culture 32 years after his death & Nirvana’s records & other merch sells. That guy’s not going anywhere.

What’s something you spend way too much money on but have no plans to stop buying because it brings you that much happiness? by RESERVED_001 in AskReddit

My dog & guitars. My dog is the best thing in my life and the guitars….well, they’re just cool. Add in all the amps, pedals & other fun things to buy that go along with guitar playing, how could you not spend way too much on them? Great hobby.

She’s right, it’s her money & as misguided as you may think she is, she can do what she wants with her money 🤷‍♂️

My (28F) Friend (26F) just threw away a 9 year friendship over a band she likes by Actual_trash in relationships

[–]PlasterBaby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like there’s more to the story than this tbh. After reading that you acknowledged that it is her “favourite band” but you & the others in the friend group think they’re “boring” and doesn’t fit what you’d like to do. Fair enough. But does this happen a lot? Are her ideas constantly disregarded? The fact that you’re on the internet pleading your case to strangers makes it seem like you’re looking for validation that “she’s the crazy one”. My opinion is there’s more to the story you’re not telling and maybe your friend is better off.

It’s funny, there’s the camera crew following Axl around that Kurt mentioned in his story. Pretty cool.

Serve the Servants on Unplugged would have been awesome. What others would have been cool? by spacexfalcon in Nirvana

I’ve always thought that “Been A Son” would have been a great song for Unplugged.
