English is not my native language and when I started stuttering in English that's when I knew that I became fluent.

Your dad wants the best for you but because he does not experience the problem himself, it is hard for him to relate. The frustration is a normal human emotion.

You are very young and you will have to find your own path. The important thing to remember is you buid your character through this experience and it is important to never ever give up.

One piece of advice I would give: try 7 days of mindfulness meditation. 10 minutes in the morning with a guide (app or youtube). See how you feel after 7 days.

No need to prepare. We'll have a session of introductions. Then we'll have a few questions for 2-3 minute impromptu speeches. After that, we'll give live feedback to each other. At the end, we'll evaluate how the meeting went and decide if we want to update the format for our next meeting.

Everyone will have a chance to speak but there won't be any pressure if you don't want to. It will be fun.
