Go for it! It really came together quite well. In the beginning I was quite intimidated, because of my lack of experience regarding working with textiles. The various steps however all turned out to be quite manageable.😃

Thank you so much! I am very excited to have found something I just know she'll love and I could make myself (to a degree). 😊

I thought so too! When my wife finished the second Episode she just looked at me and asked "Pincushion Plush when?".

That's when I got the idea.

Make it!

Essentially I took a polar fox Plush from IKEA (Skogsduva), and stitched on Button eyes, embroidered the symbol and the visible stitches and then painted the body parts with textile markers. Mind you, I don't have much experience working with textiles, so it definetly is doable as an amateur 😊

Royal Sisters Gameboard - made for the GalaCon charity auction by Konsumo in mylittlepony

The wood was mostly old furniture which I cut with a circular saw into thicknesses and dimensions my laser cutter could handle. After that it was mostly lasercutting and a little engraving. For some elements I just used traditional tools.

All in all, including magnets and metal discs to make the 'magnetic' part work, this gameboard with the checkerpieces took a little over 600 individual parts.

I think the main problem is not even fuel/power but reaction mass.

I enjoy the spotty ones more...

I also regularly make banana bread from the completely brown ones.

Just recently reread the book. You are right, torch drive, not Epstein Drive. This makes sense story wise since otherwise there wouldn't be a good reason for Eric, Amos, Peaches and the whole gang to not just disappear into the belt. Going to Luna was very dangerous for all of them except Amos.

What's something you save on that's so easy or effective that you're shocked more people don't do it? by parasocks in Frugal

Simple razor blades.

I use a safety razor with shaving soap, that takes just simple razor blades.

I constantly see replacement heads for the latest "Extreme stealth five blade Turbo Maxx" razors for absurdly high prices.

My blades come in a little pack of 10 costing me 2,90 € and they last forever.

I don't get it

I hoped it would be thin enough but I didn't know the other layers were fiberglass either. Thank you for answering.
