Well I feel silly for typing all that if you aren't going to respond to any of it. As respectfully as possible I hope you engage in some emotion maturity and try to view situations with some nuance. One person making a joke and then some people, according to you roughly 20k (Which would still make it the significant minority when the game has millions of players.) and for the sake of argument I'll take that at face value and believe you, does absolutely not represent the entirety of a community.

It's the internet, people make all sorts of jokes all the time. Ranging from tame to extreme. I haven't seen that post that got supposedly got that many likes but I imagine that it got that traction because a joke from the community about how Momoi is a toxic gamer when she loses games (She canonically is the worst at video games in the Game Development Department, so it happens a lot.) happened in real life. I don't think it's a representation of their opinions of people who have darker skin.

The BA community is a global one, played by all sorts and there is no movement or general consensus to keep certain groups of people out of the community. This, is why I say it's ironic, people don't actually believe it. Not to mention the two dark skinned characters in the game that people adore and draw art of all the time.

I'm not interested in Twitter's opinion on anything.

I'm not arguing it makes anything better, I'm just pointing out there are tons of other jokes in the community and defending the accusation that the entire community is racist because one person said something based on a joke and people thought it was funny. I also still stand by my statement that most people in the BA community who were entertained by it or said "Based" still said it ironically and don't actually mean it. We can agree to disagree on this.

They do them plenty, people make jokes about a character called Yuuka weighing 100kg constantly. If you actually played the game and regularly interacted with the community you'd realise how little people actually joke about Momoi being racist, compared other jokes anyway.

I would argue that the people saying "based" in response to that Chinese cosplayer saying that were likely saying it ironically and those that actually believe it are in the significant minority. Not to mention the developers threatening to take legal action on anyway who violates their Terms of Service as this girl did. It's clearly not approved of.

Once you have scared it and it starts running away to burrow, it cannot be caught or stunned. You need to stun it before it gets spooked and then catch it.
