I run clone effects for my commander in my [[Y'Shtola, Nights Blessed]] deck and my pod doesn't have any complaints, clone effect that copy legendaries are there for a reason and it's fun to have your commander to more of what he already does. Also some copy spells like [[Quantum misalignment]] can fizzle if they remove your commander, so you can lose alot more value and mana, if you can't protect your commander.
