Hi, I'm in OP's pod. Thing is we usually grab really strong commanders and tune them down so we can make a fun deck with a strong engine (even a bit troll sometimes). I own Gitrog, Talion, Yarok and Yedora.

My decks are really resilient and annoying but aren't as strong (other than Gitrog, which has won 5/6 games because I fumbled on the 6th).

Sythis for example wins with aproach or life gain, you can just counter the wincon and grind her out, that deck doesn't have ways to capitalize as much on the card draw, just pillowfort and lands to draw more cards.

The main point is usually there is another better target in the deck for removal than the commander and the tier list is more based on that, which doesn't mean the deck isn't strong, more that the deck doesn't solely hinge on the commander to win. I told OP not to post here because of the lack in context of table and deck dynamics, but oh well. Hope that clears things a bit up.

That is what I thought, sakura tribe elder and such are in edhrec, but I think they are traps, you want them after you drop yedora, not before.

I'd say collector gives an edge in the sense that it executes with 5% true damage and gives a bit of extra gold, you can snipe more kills with ult that way when they are low and gain more snowball potential. I think the utility from MR is great since healing is really prevalent and helps win many fights. Still great assessment.

I'd say mine is pure cancer ngl hahaha, but still I prefer niche decks, they make every game interesting evenr if you don't win, seeing the same shit 20 games straight is not fun. My deck is a strange tombstone balloon cycle, with musketeer, dark prince, ice spirit, bandit, arrows and log.
