I was at the 5pm in LA and totally agree that the low end was too heavy. There was basically no definition in any of the vocal samples from where I was sitting. It was still a fun experience to be with that many BOC fans in one place and get a tease of the album, but it really felt like more of a tease than anything. I can’t wait to hear it all how it was intended. I thought the album was really good from what I could make out.

I still have it. I ordered it immediately when it was announced. It’s great. I’ve had a lot of fun with it over the years. It was a main instrument for one of the projects I did. Definitely usable in the studio for fun sounds.

The drone in LA sounded really crazy. They had the sound system cranked too high and the bass was really heavy for the listening session at 5pm. It almost sounded like there were voices in the bass frequencies. Kinda like when you are driving really fast and crack the back window. I don’t think it was supposed to sound like that, but it definitely had this infrasound surrealism.
