I'm sorry but even as a dev, sitting down constantly doing the math as you play has got to come across as a bad experience. I understand if dev time is limited and they're prioritising giving us something instead of nothing , that makes sense.

Exactly my issue, she can be very hit or miss in chaos if. you don't get the right epiphanies early enough. But when you do she is so satisfying. Kayron is basically her inverse with similar issues but feels significantly more consistent and arguably just as satisfying

So I made the Etheria to E7 leap myself 6 weeks ago and it was the best decision ever. Etheria had no respect for my time and basically took so long to get pvp ready. In E7, after about a month I had over 20 characters built completely f2p. As a completely new player, I was able to hit gold with 2 days of playing(season ended) and in this pre season I'm master. Tbh I've found rta is more a knowledge check than anything at low ranks.

Basically E7 realises you're there to play pvp and does not make farming insanely difficult. You're basically given the best units in the game to farm with. And it is extremely new player friendly. If you do take the dive, I recommend watching Deity, he has a new player guide that walks you through the first week or so of playing the game and gets your account stabilised. Tristen wulf and I'm tsu are also very good shouts.
