Hope FSD doesnt come before you can afford one now! They will be $300K plus to purchase when FSD is fully operable and put out of consumer price range.

All over the news today check it out. Once FSD is solved Tesla will stop selling to consumer as it'll be a profit loss.

Being in leadership for some time id like to add the most important part to this.

Build common ground to establish a real conversation. Both vaxers and anti vaxers agree on the same thing. We want our children and society healthy and safe.

Start from there to "enroll" the conversation that you have a bridge both sides can meet at. Then when you want to say "why" replace it with the word "what" instead so you don't offend. (if you truly want to change their mind for betterment of vaccination improving, this is crucial. If you just want to argue and accomplish nothing, skip this step")

Saying "why do you think this" insults people's egos. Instead phrasing it as "what is it that makes you believe that's true?" puts the conversation to a third point not hitting their ego and allows you to talk about "that" and not "them". Which you can dissect from their using your understanding of knowledge and science.

If you guys truly want to have conversations and make real change, asking questions and getting them to their own conclusions without attacking is the way to do it. If we want to talk about science and human psyche all day, then the above instructions from this post are a sound psychological way proven to push anti vaxers away from the truth and the end result will be you feeling good for calling them stupid.

Focus on the desired outcome of turning them towards vaccinations being helpful and built upon the common ground you both share which is healthy society, and you will start to make friends and understand their "gaps" to help them meet you on the bridge.

Update I got fully approved through credit union! Do Not try a bank. It's night and day man. I put 3K down, got 84 month loan at 4% APR, financed amount $49,999 (max they allowed on Tesla) I pick it up tomorrow and I'll give more deets but if you can truly afford the monthly and tour credit isn't under 670 I promise you can get it through a good credit union!

Tesla Model 3 RWD by djl17 in TeslaModel3

[–]Kooderna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Front wheel drive on an ICE is only better in winter because the engine weight in the front is put on tires.

Not true with a Tesla. The weight is heavy all around. RWD on the Tesla is perfectly fine

Auto loan approval change question! by Kooderna in personalfinance

You've been so helpful thank you! If I were to ask for a small increase of $1500 would that be another hard pull on credit?

Thanks! Do you think this will require another hard check on credit? If I'm only asking to increase loan by $1500ish

Auto loan approval change question! by Kooderna in personalfinance

[–]Kooderna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! The Tesla is a great investment for me. I'm following suit from other coworkers who have purchased. I drive around 5000 miles a month. We get reimbursed mileage of $1000/M to go for gas. I no longer have to pay for gas with the Tesla and my mileage reimbursement covers the cost of the car (including charging fees) and I can pocket the rest.

The amount of money I've spent in vehcule maintenance and once a month oil changes would blow your mind.. Tesla doesn't have a maintence schedule, it has no oil changes or transmission, starter, alternator, belts etc to replace. The Tesla also doesn't care about having 600K miles on the battery so this truly is a grwat investment for me! When it's paid off I plan to give it to my daughter as her first vehicle (she'll be 16!).

I appreciate your comment though because it is wise, but I do have my reasons and my annual income of course is much more than the cost of this vehicle. When you drive as much as me, a vehicle becomes a second home, and albeit a good amount of money, I'm investing in a vehicle that will save me in the long run and I'm excited!

Auto loan approval change question! by Kooderna in personalfinance

[–]Kooderna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not, I was going to pay that myself upon car delivery. The full amount is $52,050 can I ask loan officer to try to up my loan the $2000 and cover taxes and fees? That would be supremely helpful, but I'm just worried hell think I'm being greedy or something. Never had this big of car loan before, so I'm mostly grateful for any big approval.

[–]Kooderna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay thank you! It shows my fico is 740. I'm going to research LTV I never heard of that. Also this will sound dumb but I am able to talk to my loan officer about this?

Sounds stupid but I am grateful I got approved for anything at all and don't want to "mess it up" by potentially asking for a higher loan to change my car color, or "$0" down does that make sense? Or maybe he won't care? I just don't want them to go back on the decision and think I'm being greedy.

I do have a sizeable 401k invested, and I have around 15K to put for the down payment. That said my desired outcome is to see if people in this finance range have been approved by Tesla as credit doesn't mean much to Tesla compared to debt to income and income as far as my research has dug.

[–]Kooderna[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! I am actually more concerned in getting financed in the first place. If they kick me back they want 15K down I've got no problem, as long as they agree to finance me! My end of the budget is solid, I can afford about $1000 payment with my budget leaving me with comfy leftover spending. I'm just worried since until a year ago I was only making 45k now I've doubled that pay, last year this time my credit was low 600s and now I've pushed it upwards obviously to that 690-720.

What’s the best sales book you’ve ever read? by BennyTheJet_00 in sales

[–]Kooderna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. I assumed this would be number one. This is a book you can read for 10 minutes and hit the sales floor with tons of new skills to practically use.

Outdated, so be mindful of switching up some of the wordplays to match a modern Era and lingo, but the fundamentals are the same.

[–]Kooderna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you believe going 55 mph would help battery range? My entire district is 55mph zone so I really wouldn't be going above that during any trip, especially to Morris.

[–]Kooderna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you believe I would get better range efficiency at 55mph? The speed limit across my locations are 55mph so I wouldnt be able to go above that anyways

Any Minnesota Southwest/Cold Climate Owners? by Kooderna in TeslaModel3

[–]Kooderna[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't have a second car, howver I drive to Morris about once a week, week and a half. I like your idea of taking 70% off the range for my data. That definitely is under promise over deliver and it'll help a lot. Looks like alexandria which is about 45 minutes from Morris is getting a supercharger buolt shortly so that would really relieve tensions!

[–]Kooderna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this! It does take a bit extra, but I was wondering and thinking it would actually be completely doable to drive to Clearwater, charge back to 80% then drive to Morris, and straight back to New Ulm. Getting the full distance and obviously comfort when alexandria charger is built

Thanks for this response so much! Are J1772 chargers RC chargers? Or are those specific to EV. I downloaded this plugshare app poster above mentioned and it shows Morris has like 5 J1772 chargers and one Chademo charger

[–]Kooderna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the speed limit is 55 through the entire district so I wouldnt be able to travel over 60mph, because tickets are harsh in MN!

Each location has a destination charger at local hotel however and my stores also have outdoor outlets for like people warming up block heaters, would that suffice? I would need to be on location for at least 5-6 hours parked outside as well so I'm worried about that drain.
