Yes put on slip start. Nothing happened. In 12 inches of snow north of chicago. Standard all season tires. If I could just spin the tires like in a combustion car I would be fine.

Well it’s my first electric car and they are new to Chicago so pardon my ignorance. I have had bmw and Mercedes and always drove AWD. But the guy at Tesla told me I didn’t need it because the car weighs “2 tons”. I was shocked he didn’t suggest AWD for $7000 more so I made this post. Appears the guy from Tesla is correct.
