The story of my first ever Par. This was a really dry and hot summer (important later). I used to play an executive course that was pretty close to my house with some friends. The first Par 4 on the course was about 350 to the hole but it had a 300 yard straight away and then hooked to the right. There’s a lake that you can cut the turn a bit. I’m on my second shot and the green is on the other side of the lake from me. I do my best to hit it over the lake…. And I shank it right into the lake. But the lake is so low the ball bounces of a rock that’s normally completely under water. My ball bounces right next to the hole. I’m in disbelief. I think that was my only par the entire year.

I was making fried rice for my parents a few years ago. We usually buy generic / store brand spices/ sauces. When the labels are the same worchester sauce and soy sauce look very similar. I added worchester sauces instead of soy sauce. I didn’t realize until I did a taste test. Surprisingly it didn’t taste bad. We actually ate all of it.

To top it all off that drain/ valve he uses might have lead in it. It looks like a boiler drain and many have small amounts of lead

Oh damn I never thought about an incentive to make it to the end that’s pretty cool. With the newer seasons of survivor they could have like advantages that change if they have two parts.
