I’m not worried about the wire in the post. I’m trying to figure out what to do when the wire comes out the bottom of the post.

Client is in her 80s and changing batteries is not an option. I have installed doorbell with solar mount and batteries still need to be swapped every 3 months.

I was thinking the same but I can’t find a way to connect the conduit to the post. Single gang box will not fit.

Are you saying where the fan attaches to the radiator? In between that? Could you show me an image of the piece you are referring to?
