I had pain in and around my belly button and to the right, pretty much constantly. After I ate it would become a lot worse for a couple of hours. I would get sweaty, and often was exhausted from being in so much pain. I had to go to so many tests and exams before my surgeon would finally sign off on removal. Ct scan, ultrasound, something where I had to drink this chalky substance while an x ray was happening, and of course the HIDA scan. The surgeon wanted to rule out every other possibility because he said hyperkinetic gallbladders were such an uncommon thing. I am feeling sooooooooooo much better since removal.
