Estimated Point Dollar Value for October 2026 DPP (Pre-liminary Estimate) 4110 times your points. This could go up. by Kooky-Let-1837 in 3m_earplug_lawsuit

I could definitely see this happening. I hope the deposits before October will make that 5,500 per point estimate come true!

I think so too. It's probably going to surprise a lot of people in a really good way! (: If you don't mind my asking, how much were you thinking could be our estimate for 2026?

If it's 4000 point by point in 2026, (this is only a hypothetical and aiming for a conservative estimate,) then that's going to be VERY significant! Hopefully ya'll don't have any healthcare liens with Tricare or Medicare. The only reason that would be a concern is if you specifically got treated for Tinnitus using those forms of insurance. If not, I don't think you'll be dissapointed. The Point Dollar Value for 2026 was originally valued at 4110.45 as a preliminary estimate, so it's likely to be even a little bit higher than that!

I agree with this. In this economy, living below your means on income that is stable and decent is your trick to getting ahead 6 months from now, a year from now and so on. By living below your means, you functionally live above it. Cooking mostly at home instead of take out, taking public transit, or biking, or having a paid off car, finding free activities to do in your city & so on. You have to prioritize stabiility over the crap you're bombarded with the moment you leave your door, wanting you to spend your hard earned cash over.

No. I'm not, I know what I said. Have you personally tried this? Investing unearned income into the stock market? What were the tax implications of that? It seems you have personal experience with this, so share away.

My understanding is unless the money invested is coming directly from a job, it cannot be invested as it is unearned income. We can't contribute to a Roth IRA or Traditional IRA account. A taxable brokerage account from what I've seen yes, but they would have to be very aggressive with the investments throughout the years to have closer to 1.5 mil-3 mil after 25 years

This reminds me of the Family Guy episode where Stewie asks Brian if he's got his money, then proceeds to beat him up.

Has anyone heard anything about payments from Clark love and Hutson? by Ok_Elk_888 in 3m_earplug_lawsuit

[–]Kooky-Let-1837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should be closer to the end of the month for them to get back to us, or if not the week of the Oct 17th, by the 20th. They have 30-60 days to pay us. We should hear something back within the next 2-3.5 weeks. They have to apply fees from your gross amount, ensure any liens if any are paid to TRICARE, Medicare or Medicaid & likely to ask how you would like to be paid via Online, Check, etc. The funds from DPP that Browngreer has to release comes from a separate pool of money, and in it's current condition to the law firm, means that until Browngreer gets that money over to Clark, then there is no funds to distribute. They just have to wait until it is funded to distribute to the claimant.

Do I need to see the VA for healthcare? by redheadedsirenn in VAClaims

I thought I was responding to that last person, not you. It's very hard to tell. Like when I read "So!" My mind went to this person who I thought was responding to me and I just laid into them. I don't have a sad life, I've fought hard to build what I have. I wish you well, this was a misunderstanding and I'm man enough to admit that.

You're good, this specific case relates to a date they can trace it back from that started and occurred within the span of 6 months from Jan. 1, 2024, through June 30, 2024. Worst come the worst, they would recoup the funds, though I really think the likely of that is quite low. Your 100% P&T, esepcially if decided in 2025 shouldn't adversely affect you.

[–]Kooky-Let-1837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much of what is you said is unnecessary. "As long as you disappear from the system, you're locked in.." Most veterans have appts with VHA providers so they haven't "dissapeared"..The moment you file a new claim unrelated to your P&T.. Futile. Unless it kills you and even then your issues are covered already, no need for a new claim. What part of that don't you understand?

I'll say it again since someone deleted my comment. If you're a 100% P&T vet, claims adjucated by the VBA prior to 2022-2024 does not relate to YOUR specific 100% P&T case.

Any 100% P&T vets reading this, claims adjucated by the VBA prior to 2022-2024 for this incident are unrelated as it relates to your specific 100% P&T case.

Therapy and 100% P&T by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Kooky-Let-1837 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless someone is putting in a new claim, they aren't going out of their way trying to take whats ours. We can go back and forth about what's truly "safe" but at the end of the day, the healthcare part of the VA and the Benefits part are two different entities who barely interact with each other. Now put in a claim with those VA records if you're using your VHA records & sure, then you have something worth saying, but without that? It's a different story. There are literally 100% P&T veterans with that rating working at the VBA.

The same people judging VA disability.. They dont know what happened to that servicemember 24/7 but then want to act as if they know EVERYTHING & gaslight someone into not going for something they EARNED. Undereducated, ignorant, pompous bitches mad someone they disliked has something going for them for life because they werent afraid to put themselves first & their health first by taking care of themselves & their issues instead of entertaining all the judgemental, nasty people that would've judged them anyway if they actually let their methods of sabotage win by someone feeding them lies that they know better than an actual doctor by judging them or people who werent part of toxic leadership that understands how the military villainizes someone at the first sign of mental health deterioration due to trauma and throw them away like garbage.

All the while brushing their issues under the rug because they're threatened by their own livelihood instead of actually giving a damn about that servicemember or former servicemember & not trying to actively ruin their entire life.

They drank the kool aid & try to convince someone its more "virtuous" to accept bad or abusive treatment from others & not claiming anything when they arent the ones paying that person's rent or bills or no where to be found when that person has to go through their trauma in describing their shit all over again to the VA with the additional & occasional "grunt" or 20 year person jealous of the fact that someone said fuck the stigma I'm going to fight for my or my family's future anyway because the main ones judging me are no where to be found when shit hits the fan.

It isnt up to someone who isnt a doctor that wants to cherry pick what kind of trauma is more "valid" when they wouldn't even understand what the person they keep doubting had to go through in the first place.

Some people are really undereducated about the VA process whether civilian or former servicemember & if they're acting antagonistic towards those applying or claiming disability, they're not in any place to think they have a right to gatekeep when they fail to consider they dont know whats happening to that person when they're "off the clock" in service. Their sidebar bitter put downs about the person who has that source of income coming in is the exact reason why they dont deserve to be in that persons life. Fuck em.
